Happy 15th Work Anniversary, Mark!

Today, we’re getting a little sentimental as we celebrate our Lead Auto Technician, Mark, hitting an incredible 15 years with our shop family! Over the last decade and a half, Mark has become the absolute heart and soul of this garage.

He is a master under the hood, but you can't work side-by-side for 15 years without accumulating some hilarious memories. We will never forget the high-pitched shriek Mark let out when a rogue squirrel launched itself out of a customer's engine bay directly at him, that sound will echo in this garage forever! 🐿️

We also have to mention the time he accidentally crushed Kenny’s fingers. Don't worry folks, Kenny still has all 10 digits and has mostly forgiven him by now. 🤣

Jokes aside, it is incredibly rare to find someone with Mark's level of unwavering loyalty. His patience when mentoring our junior techs and the way he treats every single car like it belongs to his own family make him truly irreplaceable.

Thank you for the grease, the grit, and the endless laughs, Mark. We’d be lost without you! 🥂🔧

⭐ A 1-Star Review Made Us Better

Recently, we received a 1-star review because we couldn't perform an emissions test on a vehicle that was showing "Not Ready."

The truth is, we were following Pennsylvania law. If a vehicle's battery has been disconnected, replaced, or the computer has been reset, it must complete its emissions readiness monitors before it can be tested. We can't override that process.

But here's what we learned: while we did our job correctly, we didn't do a good enough job explaining why. That's on us.

We know it's frustrating when your vehicle isn't ready for testing, and we'll continue working to better educate our customers while always following the law.

Maybe admitting where we dropped the ball isn't the best marketing strategy... 😅 But we're human. We won't get everything perfect, and when we miss something, we'll own it, learn from it, and do better the next time.
