In case anyone has wondered, John injured his back recently and has been out of commission while awaiting an MRI. We were out of town when it happened so everything took a bit longer to line up than it should have. We'll find out what's what this week and hopefully, the problem and treatment they are talking about will have him feeling more like himself within a week or so. Right now he's resigned himself to bingewatching Netflix!

Today we honor Willie Ray Hall of Opp, Alabama. Willie served in the Army, today is his birthday and he is remembered by his daughter, Kayla:

"Today my daddy would be celebrating his 80th birthday. He has missed so much in our lives since he left us in 2007. I hope he continues to be proud of me, and I hope he knows how much he is missed by all of his family and friends. We love you Willie Ray. Happy Birthday Daddy."
