Cavity wax is often a overlooked critical step in collision repair. More often then not we see previous repairs that proper steps we're not taken to prevent future rust issues. Every panel that requires being replaced gets a generous application of wool wax creep n crawl to prevent future corrosion issues. This is especially critical on panels that require being cut out and welded in as the pe*******on from welding sacrifices the finish on the backside of panels. This is a often overlooked area then is not always visible to the naked eye. The same steps are taken when repairing dents that require the stud welder for pulling. This technique also burns off the oem ecoat finish on the backside of the area being repaired.

Complete quarter and inner wheelhouse replacement on this 2017 ram due to rust. The rust was just starting to appear on the outside and didnt look bad, but the sad reality with rust is its start from the inside and works it way out meaning although just a few bubbles were appearing, the backside of the panels were already rusted and it was only a matter of time before they started appearing in other spots. The only long term solution is to completely replace the panels completely
