Sometimes being a small, family-owned business is hard and sometimes we have to address unfortunate things. We have had an increasingly large amount of no-show's and last minute cancellations on our schedule lately. For instance, just today, we lost over 50% of our scheduled work. We know that life happens and we are all rushing from thing to thing and appts can be missed but we are a small business with only one mechanic so when we schedule your car, we aren't double booking or counting on anyone else. We've allotted that time to you and your vehicle specifically. We want to honor your time and know that you need your vehicle back and in return we are asking for the same honor for our time.
With that being said, we have decided to implement a no-show/cancellation policy which states that if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a $25 fee or 10% of your estimated total, whichever is more. Two cancellations in a row will result in us not scheduling your vehicle for future repairs; you'll be requested to drop it off and we will get it in between other repairs as we can.
We truly don't want to be harsh but we have to protect our families livelihood just as you would protect yours and we hope that you can understand that! We have so many great customers and hope to continue that!
