TIRES- Such a basic part of a car, right? Wrong! Technicians can collect so much information about the health of a car based on the tires, you could compare checking them to “taking vitals.”

Our Pre-Apprentices have spent the last two weeks learning all things tire related, and today they put their new knowledge to the test! They rotated through 3 stations, rotating, checking pressures/tread, and balancing tires.

Tires may seem like a simple “part,” but they actually tell so much of a car’s story. That makes them a great place for these students to start learning! 🛞 🛞

The Pre-Apprentices have been getting busy both in the classroom and in the shop the last few weeks! One of their first hands-on projects of the year was putting together brand new tool boxes 🗃️ 🔧

246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.
2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning.
343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.
60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.
8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift.
None of them saw past 11:00am Sept 11, 2001.
In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

Thank you to Larry Dell, head of Hanover Auto Team Safety & Wellness Committee, for giving our Pre-Apprentice class their first safety briefing! We have a lot to dig into at the start of their training, but SAFETY is always a priority. Our students will continue to receive safety training throughout the school year.

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

This week, our new students stepped into the shop, got their hands dirty, met new people, asked questions, and took their first steps toward becoming the skilled workers of tomorrow. And that’s exactly what Labor Day is all about — celebrating the people who show up, work hard, learn a trade, build things, fix things, and keep our communities moving. There’s something pretty special about ending our first week of class on Labor Day weekend!

To all of the hardworking men and women in our community — thank you for what you do. 🇺🇸

Enjoy the long weekend, and we’ll see everyone back in the shop Tuesday! ❤️💙

Last evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming our newest group of Tech Pathways Pre-Apprentices and their families to the shop for our annual Welcome Night! Thank you to our amazing alumni for coming to support them as well!

Our new students learned more about the expectations, goals, and opportunities that come with being part of the program. We are incredibly excited to welcome this new class to Tech Pathways and look forward to watching them learn, grow, and discover what they are capable of.

🚗 Recruitment season is almost here! 🔧

We’re so excited to welcome high school juniors from our surrounding schools to Tech Pathways as we kick off another year of exploring careers in the automotive industry!
