The Kids Fishing Tournament is still happening tomorrow, Saturday, October 10! 🎣

🎣 Registration: 7:00–7:30 AM
🎣 Fishing: 8:00–11:00 AM
🏆 Awards: 11:30 AM–12:00 PM

‼️ Due to the expected weather, some of our fall festivities are moving to Friday, October 16:

👻 5:00–7:00 PM: Trunk-or-Treat, Halloween inflatables & vendor market
🎤 7:00–9:00 PM: Karaoke, pending confirmation

Vendors are still welcome to set up tomorrow, October 10, so you may still see a few joining us!

Our 1st Annual Kids’ Fishing Tournament is coming to Watauga Lakeshore Resort & Marina on Saturday, October 10.

The tournament is open to kids ages 12 and under, and entry is completely FREE.

Join us for the Lakeshore Fall Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Watauga Lakeshore Resort & Marina! Admission is free, and parking is available on-site.

🎣 KIDS’ FISHING TOURNAMENT
Registration and rules: 7:00–7:30 a.m.
Fishing: 8:00–11:00 a.m.
Records due: 11:30 a.m.
Lunch and awards: 11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

This free, boat-only, catch-and-release tournament is open to children ages 12 and under. Participants may use boats or kayaks. A parent or guardian must remain present at all times, and every child must wear a life jacket during the event.

A grab-and-go fishing station will provide available supplies such as lures, bobbers, weights, and bait. Boxed lunches will be provided to participating children. Advance registration is encouraged by emailing [email protected].

🍂 VENDOR MARKET & COMMUNITY YARD SALE
10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Shop local vendors, browse community yard-sale spaces, and enjoy a full day at the lake! We’ll have inflatables, face painting, cake walks, food trucks, drinks, and more.
