OUR STORY

Since 1971, HRKC has been bringing racing to young and old alike on Sunday mornings at Langley Speedway, located in Hampton, Virginia. With many former members becoming present-day notable drivers—including Tyler Lester, Brandon Gdovic, and Mike Skeen—HRKC is a nursery for up-and-coming drivers to learn the basics as they work towards their dreams. For others, HRKC is a hobby, allowing go-karters a chance in the driver’s seat from March thru November. Check our current schedule - http://www.hrkc.com/schedule/

Due to the potential for severe weather this evening, tonight's races are cancelled. We didn't want to do this, but safety is our biggest priority.

🚨We will be making up these rainouts by running 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 on Sundays. Instead of heat races, we will run 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬.🚨

Wishing everyone a safe and fun Labor Day weekend!

What would you do if you had 𝒐𝒏𝒆 shot… 𝒐𝒏𝒆 opportunity… to be first to the checkered flag?

Would you capture it… or just let the kart slip?
...or whatever Eminem said.

This Friday, we have 𝒐𝒏𝒆 more shot to race under the lights in 2026. We can't wait to see you there!
