It is with a profound sadness that we announce the passing of local business man Dave Baker.

For all of those that didn't know, Dave was your local "Napa Know How" guy until just a few years ago. Dave was THE guy - going above and beyond in the parts supply end of automobile repair. He held many customer appreciation events, donning an apron and cooking hot dogs for everyone. "Don't forget the chips!" he'd say! But don't get me wrong, he was honest to the bone and straight to the point - a quality that is so hard to find but truly appreciated.

Dave's friendship and kindness will never be forgotten.

John David Dave Baker, known to most as Dave, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Genoa, Illinois. He was born on January 7, 1947, in Springfield, Illinois. Dave was a loving husband, proud father, and devoted grandfather whose warmth and generosity touched everyone he met. He

Happy Friday, everyone!

Just a heads up, at 11:30 AM, our power went out. We have no estimated time of restoration. Unfortunately, this means phones, internet, parts ordering, lifts, etc are inoperable.

If you have a vehicle here for service, please know that our Service Manager will be contacting when/if the repair is completed.

If you called over the weekend and left a voice mail and HAVEN'T spoken to our service manager, please call again.

As we usher in 2026, we would like to take a moment to say thank-you. For those customers that have been with us since Day 1; and also those customers that were new in 2025, thank-you for allowing us to service your vehicles!

We would also like to take a moment and remember those customers that have passed this year. For those families, we are very sorry for your loss and are always thinking about you all.

If you must drop off a vehicle for service when we reopen on Mon, PLEASE park it in the gravel lot across the street right next to the railroad tracks.
NO PARKING in the Krueger & Assoc. lot and also
NO PARKING in the small lot off of Keyes.

UPDATE: At 5:45 pm, we have regained all functionality of our estimating and invoicing system! 🎊

For those customers that called today and were looking for estimates and invoices, Rob will be available to get those for you tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 am.

Hey everyone - Brandy here 👋
Just a heads up: Unfortunately, we are having issues with our estimating and invoicing software. I've been working with a software repair technician for the past 2 hours trying to get it repaired.

Estimates will take longer to prepare and due to the software being down, we will not be able to print estimates. ALL invoices are also unavailable.

I appreciate everyone's patience during this, it is a huge inconvenience for all.

I will update when everything is back up and running! 😊
