Picked up 36 HP just with fuel and timing adjustments. More importantly, tuned the idle and part throttle to improve the drivabilty significantly. Also straightened out the hot start issue.

Customer sent me a video from our dyno session from a few weeks ago, tuning his new EFI alcohol BBC combination. This is one of the reasons I like to use Nickerson Performance chassis dyno. It has the ability to not only simulate realistic driving conditions, but also can simulate accurate 1/4 mile runs. It makes the initial tuning much quicker and safer (especially in bad weather 😅).

Latest EFI customer. This one is a 540 BBC on alcohol with distributorless ignition. Got it up and running last night. Next stop is the chassis dyno!

One person i would like to thank for some of my success for this past seasons and for many years is Bud McNasby. I took his class probably 12yrs ago to learn ways to improve my game. When i went to his class i told myself if i could even take away one thing new that i didn't think about before then it was worth it. He's always there to help with questions for any of his students that take his class. Bud has been extremely helpful with my current engine combination and with getting the suspension right. I would never have thought to go from running a Hoosier Drag Slick to the Hoosier DOT Quick Time Pro but after learning why this would be a good change the car has been better since the switch. I have received a lot of interest in doing schools in various areas around the country. I am looking to schedule some schools for next year, possibly in conjunction with big money races. School size is always kept small to maintain personal attention, and would only need 4-8 people, depending on location and schedule. I have had a couple of people express some interest in doing a school at Lebanon Valley Dragway in October. I would need 4 people to make this happen. The prospective dates are either October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, or, October 9th, 10th, and 11th, whichever would work best for those interested. The schedule would be the same for either dates, classroom instruction as well as on track instruction on Friday, on track instruction and racing on Saturday, and racing with situational instruction on Sunday.
