Hamilton Automotive was established in 2014 as Hamilton Automotive Repair. The business was owned and operated by Nick Nichols until January 1, 2025, when it was purchased by Frank and Cara Shambles. Following the ownership transition, the company was renamed Hamilton Automotive, reflecting the same commitment to quality service while beginning a new chapter under family ownership.
In April 2026, Hamilton Automotive relocated from its original location at 108 Fabres Way in Hamilton, Montana, to a larger facility at 1102 US Highway 93 in Victor, Montana. This move allowed the shop to expand its operations and better serve customers throughout the Bitterroot Valley and surrounding communities.
Hamilton Automotive is a full-service automotive repair shop dedicated to providing reliable, honest, and professional service. We work on most makes and models of domestic and Asian vehicles, with the exception of European vehicles. Our experienced team handles everything from routine maintenance and oil changes to complex engine repairs and diagnostics.
We also offer tire sales and installation, wheel balancing, and professional wheel alignment services to help maximize tire life, improve vehicle handling, and keep your vehicle operating safely on the road.
In addition to automotive repair and maintenance, we install accessories, service tow trailers, and perform select RV and fifth-wheel repairs. We work on vehicles of all years and strive to be a trusted resource for all your automotive needs.
