Ooops…. Don’t forget your drain plugs. Engine was plum full of water. Over 7 quarts of fresh mixed water and oil siphoned out.

The lifespan of this engine got cut in half, I’m sure, that is “if it decides to start up with no bent connecting rods”. 🤞

Driveshaft, bearing carrier, bellows and carbon seal assembly replacement on a crusty saltwater Sea-Doo. You need to do preventative maintenance before saltwater riding to stop corrosion. This one is quite bad and the Sea-Doo is not that old.

Sea Doo supercharger wobble. Bad bearings on the shaft leads to engine failure.

Be advised. Sea Doo supercharged owners. Do not ignore your supercharger maintenance intervals. It is not just the clutch pack you have to worry about. Those bearings along with the shaft need replacing too. The bearing cages disintegrated on this one, causing the impeller to wobble and scrape the housing. Aluminum dust got drawn into the air intake system and into the combustion chamber, causing low compression and pitting to the valves, leading to the need of an engine replacement.

This customer went over his supercharger maintenance interval by 142 hours.
