🛻Customer # 1 came to us after hitting a ditch in the road that caused the vehicle to drive poorly. He was assuming that a major repair would be required. After we inspected the vehicle, we found only two minor damages underneath the front end. Upon delivering the news to the customer, we could see the look on the customer’s face as he realized that if he would’ve brought it to another shop, they could’ve easily taken him for thousands of dollars.
🚙Customer # 2 came to us hearing a bad noise in the front of their vehicle, as well as needing 2 tires replaced due to an alignment issue. After we inspected their vehicle, we discovered that the noise was coming from a brake job that was done incorrectly by a previous shop. The tires were not even half worn, & alignment issues were not wearing the tires poorly. After explaining to the customer that they didn’t need any tires or an alignment right now, the customer explained that the last shop(that did the bad brake job) told them that they needed two tires due to uneven wear from an alignment issue.
👉Both customers came to our shop in the same day.
👉One customer had the chance to get scammed by a shop, while the other customer already had been.
💢Although we do see this kind of thing on a daily basis and it is no mystery that a lot of corruption happens in the auto industry, we have taken a firm stand in our shop to always be transparent and to never take advantage of people.
🔅At the end of the day, we’re the ones that have to be able to look ourselves in the mirror and we’re just not willing to compromise our business integrity because we think we can make an extra couple bucks on a poor customer.
🌟Hopefully this post helps you understand why we felt the need to open an honest auto shop 🤍
