Pollen can actually be pretty rough on a car if it sits too long, especially during heavy spring seasons in Michigan.

Here’s what it does:

Sticks to your paint – Pollen has a sticky, dusty texture that clings to the surface and can trap moisture.

Can damage clear coat – When mixed with rain, dew, or humidity, pollen becomes slightly acidic and may slowly wear on your clear coat.
