Now Hiring! Woody’s Garage is searching for an experienced technician to work on used cars and for coverage for overflow of service cars. Here at Woody’s we do everything from oil changes to engine rebuilds on almost all makes and models. So, we're looking for someone that has a strong mechanical aptitude and would like to help us grow. We are well known locally for the work we do on Subarus as well, so if you also have a passion for Subarus you will fit in perfectly here.
We currently have an opening for someone interested in fixing used cars for resale that would also be willing to fill in working on customer cars from time to time when we are busy. We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and takes pride in good quality work. You must be highly detail-oriented with solid organization and time management skills. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication.
Woody’s Garage is looking for a technician with these qualifications:
*A valid driver's license with NO DUI's
*Your own set of tools with a box
*Automotive background and/or experience
*Understanding of vehicle operations, diagnostics, and repair
*Experience as a full-service technician
*ASE certifications A1 - A8 is a plus, not required
*Positive attitude
*Ability to work independently, productively and efficiently
*Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks or timelines
*Meet and exceed company performance standards
*Ambition for maintaining good quality customer service
*A desire to grow and excel as a team
*Willingness to submit to a background check and/or drug screen
*Ability to learn new skills and knowledge quickly; must have the ability to retain training
*Demonstrable knowledge of the Subaru product line is a plus

Duties include, but not limited to:
*General repair of vehicles
*Inspecting cars and being able to find preventative safety and mechanical repairs
*Test driving vehicles
*Helping keep the shop clean and organized
