Yes we did it big win for us!!. I know it is not 1st but 2nd taste almost as sweet at the hornet 100!!
This was a huge confidence boost for us especially for a struggling season that we have been having. Got through the heat to get 3rd after a unfortunate incident with 97s James Skeslien where I wasn't able to stick to the bottom and unfortunately clipped him but was able to talk to him after and it seems to that we made up so im happy about that. We were able to get into the hornt hustle which i believe is very cool and fun way to set the lineups for the main which We ended up starting on the second row inside. Got to the main and we were able to stay in the top 4 the whole night on lap 47 we were able to make a clean pass to take 2nd some may say that I moved the person to get second but we have video on our go pro that'll show we didn't touch. The only time during the whole main that we made contact with anyone in the main was a front bumper touch on Skeslien don't remember what lap but It was nothing agregious and then with I would say 10 to go made side contact with the 69 which was just racing incident when we were behind the 80 of Melissa Bryant and the 14 of Jacob Matlock and with those two side by side didn't leave much space to pass and get by. But those are the only times where we made and contact during the main which I would say is a pretty clean race very happy with the results.
Can't thank my grandpa enough Bob Day he always makes the ready to race every week soooo many hrs put into this car can't ever thank him enough for what he does.
