šØ Our Kennels Are Full , And Our Hearts Are Heavy
Rescue isnāt just hard. Some days, it feels impossible.
Right now, our kennel is completely full. Every run, every crate, every corner we can safely use, itās occupied by a soul who needs help. And still, the calls donāt stop. The emails donāt stop. The āurgentā messages come in one after another, asking if we can take just one more.
We want to say yes. We always want to say yes.
But space is gone. Funds are low. And our volunteers are exhausted.
If youāve ever thought about fostering, now is the time. If you can donate, even $5 helps. If youāve been meaning to adopt ā please come meet your future best friend. If nothing else, please share this post. You never know who might see it and step up.
This work breaks our hearts daily, but we keep going because the animals need us.
We just canāt do it alone. šš¾
EDIT:
š§” To Everyone Whoās Spoken UpāThank You š§”
We want to take a moment to thank everyone whoās taken the time to share feedback with usāboth the kind words and the criticisms. Weāve heard you. Weāve taken it to heart. And most importantly, weāve made meaningful changes to the way we operate our applications process because we care deeply about doing right by the animals and the people who support us.
We understand that not everyone will agree with every decision we make. Thatās the reality of rescue. Letās keep it positive moving forward for the sake of our volunteers who give their all.
Weāre not perfect, and we donāt claim to be. But we are constantly learning, growing, and evolvingāand we ask for the same grace and compassion we try to give the animals in our care.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Letās keep the focus where it belongs: on saving lives, building families, and moving forwardātogether.
