What a great day to try out the 4x4 on the Crigler’s 1946 Dodge WDX truck. A few more tweaks, some personal road testing/tuning and it’s ready to go back home. 1985 Chevy K20 HD chassis and driveline with a Chrysler 331 hemi for power. Scott said do it kind of like a tractor restoration. Ready for the farm show!

Nathan Garrett’s 1965 Corvette custom is up for sale today at Barrett Jackson. I drove it over 300 miles before we felt it was ready for him. But it’s too nice for me to drive. Beautiful and extremely fast car, also a great customer, wish him luck at the auction.

Road trip to GPI in Jacksonville, AR Thursday. Ryan Stevens and Aaron Salisbury tuned Buddy Park’s ‘68 Camaro with Procharged L83 6 speed combo. Got the Holley Terminator X and GDI controller to a safe 597hp on the hub dyno. Then road tuned the 5.3 in the shop truck. It will run 100 a lot quicker with twice the mpg over the old carbureted 350.

Test drove the Stearns again today. Cruises nice at 55+. Coming together in 1929 speed. Seems like everything is labor intense. Shops probably got .25-.50 an hour then.

It’s been a long time coming and still needs a few tweaks but I finally found the shop truck I’ve always wanted. Probably keep the ‘72 to pull a trailer and 100 degree days. ‘34 Ford still with mechanical brakes and a later Mercury flathead.

Frye Motorsports wants everyone to know where we stand as an AMERICAN company.

After the events of the last couple days with the death of Charlie Kirk and the Ukrainian woman killed on the train in NC we want this to be known….
If you are willing to still support the Democratic party after this absolute ignorance, we as a company do not want anything to do with you. We do not want your business and we do not want you calling here. We do not want your name in our system period!!!

This goes for vendors as well. If we currently buy products from you and find out your upper management is in support of the Democratic party, we will no longer be buying your products.

Enough IS Enough!

My nephew Rocky Valentine and Silas picked up his ‘67 C10 yesterday. We really enjoyed this low key build. Not a show truck but a nice patina daily driver for the superintendent of Logan Rogersville schools in Missouri. I questioned at first but I think his choice of wheels made this truck. It has the steering wheel from his grandfather Fonzo’s farm truck. The glove box door and seat from first my car hauler then his dad Monty Valentine’s welding truck. This was the late Charlie Coffman’s truck he bought in Alaska and towed his race car back to Arkansas with a LS6 454 in it. We installed a more drivable 5.3LS and 4L60e transmission. Vintage Air, Retro stereo, Dakota Digital gauges and cruise control. Drop spindles and rear springs got it setting right. While we rebuilt the entire chassis and moved the fuel tank under the bed. My guys are the best!

I’ve dropped the ball on posts. I’m sure I missed someone but here are a few recent car show winners we have worked on in the past. Jerry Earnhart’s 1971 Ford F100 SportCustom won the Water for Christ truck class in Greenbrier. Jeff Reidhar’s 1967 C10got 1st place at the Dixie Car Club in Benton. And Clyde Elders won Best of Show at Petit Jean Mountain with his 1948 Chrysler New Yorker with its rare straight eight engine. I don’t brag on my guys enough!
