This is why I love our small towns. You can always count on people having your back.

Tipoff starts at 4 o’clock tomorrow (Friday). The Clayton Ridge Eagles take on the Kee High Hawks for a JV girls and boys matchup, followed by Varsity girls and boys.

Our athletic boosters do a great job keeping the fans and students entertained with their chuck-a-duck, and free throw shooting games. They will be donating proceeds from tomorrow night’s activities to Rachel Eglseder.

Rachel is a student-athlete from Edgewood Colesburg High School who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. As scary as it sounds, Rachel continues to rally, and has had some big games for Ed-Co already this season.

Donation jars will be placed at the admission table and concession stand window tomorrow night, and on Saturday morning for the JV boys tournament in Guttenberg.

No one fights alone, and CR looks forward to assisting Rachel in hers. 💜
