This morning I was trying to get ahead of the day—thinking about a situation with one of our guys, work piling up, stuff at home, wife and kids needing me.I had no EGR

— Extra Grace Required.

I had nothing left to give.
Not patience. Not understanding. Not even the right attitude.
So I got on my knees and asked God to fill my cup… not just for me, but so I could respond the way He would.
Because the truth is, we’re not built to be the source—we’re just the vessel.
We try to carry everything—work, family, pressure, expectations—and then wonder why we run dry and start getting short with people. Why grace is the first thing to go.
But Jesus Christ carried more than we ever will… and still chose patience, still chose mercy, still chose the cross.
So why are we so quick to be selfish with our grace?
Because when we’re empty, the flesh takes over. And the flesh says: “I don’t have time for this.” “I’ve got my own problems.” “They should know better.”
But God says: “Come to Me and I’ll fill you.”
You don’t fix a clogged system by pushing it harder—you clean it out and let it flow again.
That’s what this morning was for me—cleaning it out. Laying it down. Letting Him refill what I don’t have on my own.
So if you’re feeling stretched thin today, if people are getting on your nerves and your patience is gone… maybe it’s not them.
Maybe it’s time to get filled again.
Because someone in front of you today needs grace—and it might only come from what God pours into you first.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Some days in the shop feel long… work piles up, stress follows you in, and it feels like you’re spinning your wheels.
Proverbs 13 reminds us of something simple but real: Hard work, discipline, and the words we speak all shape the direction of our life.
“A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” (v.4)
That doesn’t just mean money—it means your life, your peace, your home, your future.
Every job you do right.
Every time you choose patience over anger.
Every time you show up when you don’t feel like it…
That’s building something.
It also says: “Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life…” (v.3)
In the shop, words matter.
You can tear someone down quick—or you can build them up and make the whole place better.
Today’s reminder: Stay diligent.
Watch your words.
Do the small things right—even when no one sees.
God honors consistency, not just big moments.

When the blessings keep coming and the workload stacks up—late nights, early mornings, stress pulling from every direction—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Work needs you. Home needs you. Life doesn’t slow down.
But don’t forget… the opportunity in front of you didn’t come by accident. It came from God.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” — Matthew 6:34
What Jesus is telling us here isn’t to ignore responsibility—it’s to release the weight we were never meant to carry. Worry tries to pull us into a future we can’t control, while God is calling us to be faithful in what’s right in front of us today.
Each day has enough on its own—its own work, its own challenges, and its own grace. When we try to carry tomorrow’s problems on top of today’s, that’s when we break down.
God provides daily strength for daily work—not tomorrow’s strength for today’s worry.
So in your work, in the stress, in the pressure—stay present. Do the job in front of you with excellence. Trust God with what’s coming next.
Count it all joy—not because it’s easy, but because He’s in it with you.
Keep your head down. Keep your faith up. Keep moving forward.

Romans 10 is on the table tonight.
Epistle to the Romans 10:9 — Confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord. Believe in your heart. You will be saved.
That’s not soft talk.
That’s surrender.
Tonight we celebrate a brother — one year sober after 25 years of addiction that started at 9 years old.
One year ago he was homeless.
Sleeping in the woods.
No license. No job. No direction.
Then he stopped playing games with God.
He surrendered.
Within months:
License
Job
Vehicle
Camper
House
Relationship
That’s what happens when a man dies to himself.
Romans 10:13 says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
And Jesus said in Gospel of Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”
Die to yourself.
Live for Him.
Saved means rescued from the pit.
Saved means chains break.
Saved means excuses die.
Men — we carry weight. We lead homes. We fight battles no one sees.
But some of us are still holding onto pride, anger, addiction, control.
You cannot follow Christ and stay on the throne of your own life.
Tonight is about surrender.
About dying to the old man.
About celebrating proof that God rebuilds what we thought was too far gone.
6:30.
Everyone is welcome.
Let’s honor what God can do with a man who fully submits.

Good morning, men.
God’s been working on me as I’ve been studying Romans — really pressing on my heart the weight we carry as men. The responsibility. The pressure to make sure everything is taken care of in our homes. To provide. To protect. To lead.
But here’s what hit me…
We’re often the hardest on ourselves. We don’t forgive our own faults. We replay our failures. We carry guilt longer than God ever intended us to.
Yet in Romans we’re reminded: we are redeemed.
There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Our past doesn’t define us — our position in Christ does.
This week isn’t just another men’s group.
We get to celebrate a brother hitting ONE YEAR SOBER.
That’s what redemption looks like.
That’s what grace does.
God doesn’t see the past — He sees a man walking with the Lord.
Men, come celebrate what God can do in a surrendered life.
Thursday at 6:30pm.

God woke me up this morning with Romans on my heart.
The Book of Epistle to the Romans is clear — we don’t play church, we live transformed.
“Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” – Romans 12:2
Men, this world is constantly trying to shape us —
how we think, how we lead, how we treat our wives, how we raise our kids.
Romans reminds us: • We are sinners saved by grace.
• We are called to die to ourselves.
• We are called to lead with strength and humility.
• We are not ashamed of the Gospel.
This isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being surrendered.
It’s about becoming the men God actually called us to be.

There will be food.
There will be truth.
There will be brotherhood.
Come hungry — physically and spiritually.
Let’s grow.

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lam. 3:22–23)

Jeremiah writes this from the middle of grief, loss, and ruin—not comfort. Yet he anchors his soul to one truth: God is still faithful.
Not because life is easy.
Not because the pain is gone.
But because the Lord does not change.
You may be weary. You may be waiting. You may feel pressed on every side.
Still—His mercy showed up this morning.
Still—His faithfulness carried you through the night.
Still—there is hope when you turn your heart back to Him.

“The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.” (Lam. 3:25)
Hold the line. Hope in the Lord. Tomorrow’s mercy is already on the way.
