I am a little disappointed in Summit Racing right now. I ordered a flywheel from them six months ago. They told me it was on backorder and I would see it in the middle of January. Then they told me the middle of April. I received this email from them this morning. At the bottom you will see my response. I will also include a video that really identifies the root cause.
This email has been sent in reference to the following from your current order:
SDM-PCE2291021 FLYWHEEL
We have been advised that this item is no longer available from the manufacturer.
Because we are unable to obtain it, we are required to cancel it from your order.
Any unused funds from the cancelled item will automatic ally be refunded to you.

This is bu****it, a total lie. The flywheel is available, and you have discontinued offering any items from Speedmaster because of product fraud litigation. I was already informed about the unavailability of this because I called twice. I always in the past chose Summit over Jegs for all my speed product needs. I have spent a lot of money with your company, but I will not tolerate dishonesty. I already purchased this flywheel directly from Speedmaster. That's why I know it is available. It is my opinion that you would be much better off telling your customers exactly why you have chosen to no longer offer Speedmaster products. They will respect you for that.
