Wow the 5th Annual Moroso Charity Car Show was a huge success! The weather was gorgeous and there were over 400 cars! Congratulations 🍾🎉 on a great show for a great cause. It was a fun day.

Today we say goodbye to a truly special member of our local car community, Bill Raccio. Bill Raccio

For many years, Bill was much more than a car enthusiast—he was one of the people who helped bring our entire community together. He seemed to know every classic and hot rod in the state, who owned them, their history, and, of course, what was under the hood. If you had a question about a car, there was a good chance Bill knew the answer—or knew exactly who to ask.

One of Bill’s greatest contributions was creating the Ted Aub Car Show, held in memory of his dear friend Ted. What made the show so special was that it wasn’t just about beautiful cars and great people. Bill made sure that the proceeds went to support different veteran organizations throughout Connecticut, turning his love of the car community into something that made a real difference in the lives of others.

That says a lot about the kind of person Bill was.

He loved cars, but he loved the people and the friendships that came with them even more. His knowledge, enthusiasm, generosity, and friendship will be deeply missed.

The local car community has lost one of its own, and we are all a little smaller for it.

Rest easy, Bill. Thank you for the memories, the stories, the friendships, and for keeping the spirit of our car community alive. Your legacy will continue every time we gather, fire up an engine, and share our passion for these cars.

Our deepest condolences to Bill’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved friend and car enthusiast, Louis Laviola.

Lou, along with his partner in crime, Marlene, was truly the life of every Cars and Coffee event. Whether they were cruising in their classic Mercury Montclair or lighting up the show field, their presence brought a special energy to our community. Louis was a regular at local car shows, and his stunning ride always seemed to catch the judges' eyes—he walked away with his fair share of trophies, but he’d tell you it was about the people, not the hardware.

Beyond the cars, we will miss Lou for his kindness, his sharp humor, and that signature wit that kept us laughing with a wise crack or two.

Lou, you’ll be deeply missed on the cruise and at the shows. Thank you for the laughs, the stories, and the memories. Rest easy, friend. May God Bless you, Marlene and your family.

🇺🇸You all did it again! You came and showed up and opened up your wallets for an amazing cause. APK Charities Corporation helps our veterans and Gold Star Families and you embraced them!!! 🇺🇸

It was a beautiful morning with The Little Store serving up breakfast and Tracy Bakes had an assortment of fresh baked goods. The raffle basket proved to be a big hit (over $300 value and a Tracy Bakes gift card!) and we had a wonderful time. You'll notice that in the dog photos they are smiling extra wide and sat perfectly for me (Milkbones will do that).

It’s a go for tomorrows Cars & Coffee event to benefit APK Charities Corporation. The rain will stop by 6am tomorrow and we are excited to support this amazing organization 🇺🇸

The Little Store will be serving their delicious breakfast sandwiches, iced and hot coffees, energy drinks, water and soft drinks. Tracy Bakes will have tasty treats and fresh baked breads and morning rolls.

We will be raffling off a basket filled with so many car related items. See list in the comments👇🏼
