I have been asked… What is this AMSOIL stuff your wife has been writing about on Facebook.
Well, for me it’s a time saver and it helps keep my vehicles on the road longer. I only have to change motor oil about once a year. Using Amsoil is actually less expensive to use than the motor oil you are currently using. Synthetic oil is slicker than conventional oil, causing less wear on engine parts. This can lead to better fuel economy and longer engine life. For some, it’s a way to get even with big oil companies and foreign oil exporter. Amsoil customers only change oil every 25,000 miles instead of 3,000 thus reducing our dependence on foreign oil. Others know extending the oil change interval protects the environment and saves our natural energy resources.
