About me :
“My racing career started the day I was born, with my parents owning a micro sprint track here in Pittsfield until 20010. I started racing at the age of 5, starting out great with a win in my first race in a quarter midget with CCQMA in Taylorville IL. From there I went onto win the national championship for CCQMA in 2006 in the novice division. We’d move up into micro sprints in 2007 where I raced restricted micros for 2 years. In 2009 we bought a JR sprint and raced in sweet springs MO every weekend.
Took a break from racing until 2022, raced an LO206 asphalt kart until now! We bought the car last year and this will be our first year racing a sprint car, and first year racing dirt since 2009!
We have a Maxim Chassis
Small block chevy engine
Will be racing in Quincy, Jacksonville, Lincoln & 34 Raceway!”

Meet COOPER “COOP D” LEMONS #261

“Hi, I’m Cooper, but most people know me as Coop D. I’m 11 years old from Pittsfield, Illinois, and I race motocross in the 65cc (10–11) class. I ride a KTM 65 SX and spend most of my time at the track working to get faster every time I ride.

I started racing because I love the adrenaline and the challenge. No two races are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me pushing myself. Whether it’s rough tracks, mud, or tough competition, I like seeing how much I can improve each time I line up at the gate.

One of my biggest accomplishments so far is winning the Missouri State Championship, along with earning the Sharp Award for sportsmanship. Being a good rider is important to me, but being a good person on and off the track matters just as much.

This year, my goal is to keep improving and compete at a higher level as I move up in my class. I’m working hard on my speed, technique, and confidence as I chase my dream of making it to Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National.

I’m really thankful for the people and sponsors who support me, especially Tri-State Car Wash Solutions. Their support helps me keep doing what I love and pushing toward my goals.”
