Man I can't thank my crew pops, Damion Wilmoth Don Steuart and David Steuart enough for busting there asses for me this week.
Monday after work we investigated a motor issue on cherry. About 4:30 Monday night we decided our big motor was hurt. I said that was gonna be the end of our season with only having roughly 6 races left.
Nope I got voted off the island by pops and damion. So at about 5 pm we started pulling our big motor out and getting peanut ready to drop back in. Monday night we had our big motor in the floor and peanut close to ready to drop in.
Last night I get home from work don and David show up and start turning the car around and swapping tires while me and pops swapped bell housings and finished up last little details on peanut. Fast foward to 7pm last night and everything is back together minus a radiator. Peanut is ready to fire off, cherry is turned around and ready to go, tires just need prepped and we just might make fairbury this saturday night fingers crossed .

Well not the post we were hoping to make today but Saturday night at fairbury we had alittle issue with over heating and noticed the motor was smoking alittle more then normal.
Sunday at testing the team tried a few things to fix the overheating issue but unfortunately couldn't resolve the issue and as the day went on our big motor started smoking alittle more and more.
Today the team investigated the issues on the motor and unfortunately found that our big motor is hurt. The boys got to work pulling it out and getting peanut or championship motor ready to drop in.
The guys are digging hard and hoping to have cherry back in action this weekend at fairbury depending on parts arriving.
Definitely not the news we were hoping for but hey..... thats racing parts break and things happen.

SCRATCH THAT! all cars are transferred to the A Main! Sooo, Jake will be starting 16th in the feature!

Jake finished 6th in Heat #1. Only top 5 transfer, so he’ll be starting first in the B Main!
