We have no problem sending people directly to vendors for some products we don't have or don't want to bring in.

For 2003-2004 slammer with billet controls.

They said can take care of switches, control buttons, gaskets.only

They still have billet mirrors

The billet parts they will not do anymore.
The Forward controls also not doing.

We can convert you to our standard hand controls and switches if need be.

We only do 11/16 now.You can do single and dual.
Aih should have done from the start.

Forward controls (All but this this model/year) have been a issue as we had levers done by original machinst but they won't do complete.

Working on getting them done again.

Joker Machine is a aftermarket motorcycle and powersports parts manufacturer based out of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. All parts are made in house with the high quality CNC machining. Tons of parts for Harley-Davidson, Triumph Motorcycle, Vintage Cafe Bikes, CAN-AM, Polaris and much more.

If harley s**t don't work in harley.wonder why. It's job security to fix s**t.

Don't think synthetic is always the best.
It heats and becomes water based and sloppy.
Straight oils fill the gaps and save forks, gears, and chain if chain drive(oem).

Lucas oil stabilizer in primary and trans save your s**t and wear better with 8090 in trans/primary

We use 80-90 w/lucas oil stabilizer to stop this s**t.non synthetic

Synthetic not for aih or Choppers based on evo,our type trans and primary.

Synthetic is good for tolerance type components.

Also for people that probably never done it. transmissions after 2000 mi needs to be adjusted for wear and forks thats wear.reason why so many blame manufacturer on it sucks.you never adjusted for wear on it ,forks will go bad and shift like s**t.
There is a break in for everything.you just don't do it.

For customers with American Ironhorse frames and or motorcycle.

Over the years we get the FBI, insurance investigations, DOT, and state law enforcement looking into VIN'S.

If we find that the 03 back with stamped # is altered and sticker gone. They will take it and you may get charged

If we find 04-09 tag and sticker removed. They will take it and you may get charged

If there is a state issued on a pre registered bike. They will take it and you may get charged.

If there is a mso # on a bike they will take it.(like our mso from 07/08 for a frame)It's not a vin.
(5l5******FW******)after 5L5-6 and 2 letters after fw.is not a vin.frame only

If the tag was removed by anyone other than fed's or us (American Ironhorse)
It's fraud and punishable. They will take it and you may get charged.

Insurance cannot remove it even if salvage. They can only give a salvage title.
If they remove it - frame needs to be destroyed or sent back to us to have certified to reinstate.

Police cannot remove. dmv/rmv cannot remove.

Shops that get salvage bikes can not remove and resell with bill of sale. It's fraud and punishable. Can be confiscated.

These are vehicles and these actions are what chop shops and thieves do.

Doesn't matter if it got by a state inspector or dmv/rmv person. They can also be held liable.
They are required to search title and inspect if frame was altered (removed tag)

So if you bought a frame or bike that does not have our issued vin attached. You have issues if caught.
Doesn't matter if you bought from someone. It's called received stolen property.

The only way you can be safe on a state issued frame is if it leads back to our mso or daytec at dmv and or you have a copy of it.

All others will be flagged stolen!

So to you all that think there is a issue with a vin # start digging up where and who you bought from and any records.

Been getting more and more calls on these issues.

You buy frames that have no mso/tag from ebay. You have a problem. It was probably already registared.

If you think it's a problem call or email.

You can buy a frames from jimbo, cycle warehouse or anyone with a aih mso only.Bill of sale doesn't cut it.

Our hydraulic actuators that are existing.we are working out having them machined and redone where the pistons eat the metal. so you don't need to deal with buying new ones and will last longer.

Need to get our hands on a few old ones to figure out to correct the issue machine wise.

When we get figured out will have a address to send to. We make nothing and keep small shops alive and cost down.

If you have one no good and are willing to sell for scrap or allow use to figure out.we can send to them.

We have a idea how we want to do but need to see how bad they are to correct.

If we get done right and works as we want them to. you get back for ship cost.

We eat the machine cost.

Only for a couple needed.

Or we can trade for parts if needed

Batteries have been a big problem in last few years.Doesn't matter the brand but some are worse than others. There are 3 companies that make and sell to everyone. The difference is what grade, meaning the cells and how its done inside the case.

So we have been seeing what comes in and the other shops have been telling us what they are dealing with.

The top batteries to stay away from for our bikes and reasons.

Lithium = all
Reasons = Not for the type of motor and power draw.

They say great for low compression,Asian bikes, honda,Indian, victory they don't need the higher cca and power draw.

The value of cranking amps is not cold cranking.

It's a marketing tactic.

When it fails it will pop and surge your electronics.

Had more fail than you can believe killing components.

We talked to antigravity and others. They said not for this type of motor and starter draw.

People that had luck with them great.until you don't

Duracell= had many that caused damage when they go bad

Die hard = they just suck

Napa = Not great

Interstate = was really good and they changed bike batteries and worse.

Harley = low grade good for harley.rare to get one that lasts for Choppers

What's on ebay = hit and miss.they are all about the same just different stickers.

Auto zone is same as o'riley that brings us to the next issue.

If you don't have a black manufacturer sticker your getting a who the he'll knows battery.

This goes for ALL batteries no matter the brand.

These battery stores have been pulling fast ones on the public with sticker slapping date codes.
You think they are new and fresh as they are a minimum of 5 months old already.
They don't tell the public.
So we contacted them and got 1/2 ass replies.

Different colors are different meanings but not new or fresh as we need for the chopper/harley world.

Batteries you are all on your own.

We were recommending O'Reilly auto parts since we had good luck for awhile. But after seeing stickers replaced/redated and almost year old batteries because they don't move fast. They can shove them.

Pic of a response and Pic of stickers that overlap real dates

This year we will be looking into doing some more parts that have been tough to get.

The question is what parts do we want to tackle and get done that are not sitting on shelf.

Wanting a list to figure out what is not going to sit on self that people need.

The parts done here in country are more and materials are just as much.We try to use businesses in country but take forever and the price is way to high to resell.

Some can be done here if able.

Or it will be done elsewhere but in large volume to get cheaper to you but we don't want the extreme overage as we have 2 buildings full as it is.

You people buy 1 and done sitting on 100s + that doesn't move. Not like it all flies off the shelf.

Anything before 2004 we are not doing. No calls for it.

2003 was control modual that we make that was junk from wires plus.we make inhouse with real circuit board and flash.

Gill coils are discontinued due to not enough sales and we are looking into another vendor to make a good coil that is whats needed.

Anything 3 or 5 ohm will work but will cause issues.

Daytona and others will say its ok but they are in it for the sales. They don't care.
They try to push their stuff on us and we won't do it.
If you don't care go for it.as we see on the fb forums.not our problem.

2003 back that uses nose cone ignition that swapped out its fine. Recommend 3ohm less is better.

So 2 things I'm going to suggest.

1: if you remove the sticker on your rear master cylinder there is a relief hole and a Logo as seen in pic.

2: TX Choppers and Slammers. Bandera will be the same.
Stealth swingarms

I have been getting in a lot of bikes with broken axle adjuster bolts. So the axle is just there without a stop.
They are junk and if your able to remove them do so.they bind and rust in place.

Use grade 8 bolts or stainless.retap thread put anti sieze

If you take a measure of where your axle is to swingarm and add a 1/2+ inch that should be good if its in the right spot.more thread the better at the end of shank for adjustment.depends on bolt company.
Using a bolt that has a solid shank compared to threads is stronger.Plus you need room for the set nut.

It makes it a little more of a pain in the ass for the removal of a the wheel but i would rather remove the axle and drop the tire than bust these cheap bolts in the swingarm like I've been getting in.

Some are almost impossible to get out and it takes forever if it is snapped at or within the swingarm.

If you get bolts that are full thread than that's up to you.I measure and use full shank with nut and 1/2+ thread into swingarm.

All you need is a little adjustment to set axle and to remove it.
