We just found out that especially on bouget with brute primary.the bearing against ramp is not greased good or going bad from pressure.
Partly from correct transmission oil also.
They heat up and bearing cooks.

Other than that with primo brute the clutches eat the basket and won't slide correctly.

Had alot of bourgets with bad clutch issues

So when your bike clutch goes dead check the rod bearing on left side.

Also happens when you keep adjusting the cable and max out

Why we no longer use gates type belts on AIH bikes.

They are great belts but only for steel type pulley's
Reason why transmission pulley looks 10 times better than rear pulley.

AIH didn't use rubber like the ultima because they don't last under torque.

All companies buy the best they can when making at the time and finding out later the issues from non compatibility.

This is from gates.

A Gates Poly Chain belt can rapidly wear down or gouge an aluminum pulley because the belt features a tough polyurethane body and high-strength carbon fiber cords mated to a soft metal under high torque, causing severe micro-slip, abrasive friction, and mechanical hammering.

3.35" ultima basket studs we made.
Stronger steel,heat treated,galvanized,longer threads on basket end so they don't pull out,full nut size for install/removal.

Is not a dealer or affiliated with us.

There is no huntsville ironhorse and charles died in 2019 when it was a dealership.

It's been a laundromat for years look it up at that address stated.

Does he have parts yes some origional some counterfeit.

Some of the parts he has came from us even the parts that charles had. As charles bought quite a bit from me.

I even dropped shipped for brian between 08-2018 from his ebay store and have records. So most ebay parts came from us and some of the inventory charles had.

If he is a so called dealer I would love to see a dealer agreement in his name from AIH factory or from us. There isn't one

He bought parts from charles kid. No ownership,no dealership. Got a website to trick people.

We don't have a problem with him selling as long as it's origional stock but to lie and be deceitful to customers saying a dealer or owner is a outright lie.

Had enough complaints and calls on it.

He needs to grow up and tell people the truth. Just a guy slinging parts. Stop with the bs.

At least post a legitimate address and change the site.Brians parts.
He is not Ironhorse and doesn't pay for any ip rights.

There is no business listing in Texas with that name either, we called the Texas secratetary of state. Why because it would be trademark infringement and no leagal documents being as such. So if you bought from him under that name and he charged sales tax or hasn't filed under that name.Call it in

Charles Tompson was last registared owner in 2019 being a real dealership with ownership rights.

He just needs to stop being deceitful.

People bitch that aih has bad components that they did not make.

Shown is 2003 power control mod that was done by wires plus.They sold to many companies saying great stuff.

It was a cheap single board with pop rivets for ground and house wires as jumpers plus paths that went nowhere.
They were s**t!

Back in the days companies relied on others for good components.You can't down a company for others s**t products!

We made a mil spec multi layer board with a ground.

The difference between junk and making better components.

We have no problem sending people directly to vendors for some products we don't have or don't want to bring in.

For 2003-2004 slammer with billet controls.

They said can take care of switches,control buttons,gaskets.only

They still have billet mirrors

The billet parts they will not do anymore.
The Forward controls also not doing.

We can convert you to our standard hand controls and switches if need be.

We only do 11/16 now.You can do single and dual.
Aih should have done from the start.

Forward controls (All but this this model/year) have been a issue as we had levers done by original machinst but they won't do complete.

Working on getting them done again.

If harley s**t don't work in harley.wonder why. It's job security to fix s**t.

Don't think synthetic is always the best.
It heats and becomes water based and sloppy.
Straight oils fill the gaps and save forks,gears,and chain if chain drive(oem).

Lucas oil stabilizer in primary and trans save your s**t and wear better with 8090 in trans/primary

We use 80-90 w/lucas oil stabilizer to stop this s**t.non synthetic

Synthetic not for aih or Choppers based on evo,our type trans and primary.

Synthetic is good for tolerance type components.

Also for people that probably never done it. transmissions after 2000 mi needs to be adjusted for wear and forks thats wear.reason why so many blame manufacturer on it sucks.you never adjusted for wear on it ,forks will go bad and shift like s**t.
There is a break in for everything.you just don't do it.

For customers with American Ironhorse frames and or motorcycle.

Over the years we get the FBI, insurance investigations, DOT, and state law enforcement looking into VIN'S.

If we find that the 03 back with stamped # is altered and sticker gone. They will take it and you may get charged

If we find 04-09 tag and sticker removed. They will take it and you may get charged

If there is a state issued on a pre registered bike. They will take it and you may get charged.

If there is a mso # on a bike they will take it.(like our mso from 07/08 for a frame)It's not a vin.
(5l5******FW******)after 5L5-6 and 2 letters after fw.is not a vin.frame only

If the tag was removed by anyone other than fed's or us (American Ironhorse)
It's fraud and punishable. They will take it and you may get charged.

Insurance cannot remove it even if salvage. They can only give a salvage title.
If they remove it - frame needs to be destroyed or sent back to us to have certified to reinstate.

Police cannot remove. dmv/rmv cannot remove.

Shops that get salvage bikes can not remove and resell with bill of sale. It's fraud and punishable. Can be confiscated.

These are vehicles and these actions are what chop shops and thieves do.

Doesn't matter if it got by a state inspector or dmv/rmv person. They can also be held liable.
They are required to search title and inspect if frame was altered (removed tag)

So if you bought a frame or bike that does not have our issued vin attached. You have issues if caught.
Doesn't matter if you bought from someone. It's called received stolen property.

The only way you can be safe on a state issued frame is if it leads back to our mso or daytec at dmv and or you have a copy of it.

All others will be flagged stolen!

So to you all that think there is a issue with a vin # start digging up where and who you bought from and any records.

Been getting more and more calls on these issues.

You buy frames that have no mso/tag from ebay. You have a problem. It was probably already registared.

If you think it's a problem call or email.

You can buy a frames from jimbo,cycle warehouse or anyone with a aih mso only.Bill of sale doesn't cut it.

Our hydraulic actuators that are existing.we are working out having them machined and redone where the pistons eat the metal. so you don't need to deal with buying new ones and will last longer.

Need to get our hands on a few old ones to figure out to correct the issue machine wise.

When we get figured out will have a address to send to. We make nothing and keep small shops alive and cost down.

If you have one no good and are willing to sell for scrap or allow use to figure out.we can send to them.

We have a idea how we want to do but need to see how bad they are to correct.

If we get done right and works as we want them to. you get back for ship cost.

We eat the machine cost.

Only for a couple needed.

Or we can trade for parts if needed
