A couple of friends who held common interests and enjoyed the freedom of motorcycling started the company in 1997. Initially, the company was nothing more than a hobby that gave the partners an excuse to ride to motorcycle events across the country. In 2002, the

partners left their executive corporate positions and decided to turn the hobby into their "dream" business. MANAGING MEMBERS

D2 Powersports is a family owned business with Dan Patterson, Sr. Father and son bring unique capabilities, experiences and backgrounds to the company - however they have one thing in common, a passion for motorcycling. Danny received his first motorcycle from Dan at the age of 4 and have been riding together ever since. Dan was president of Lockheed-Martin, headquartered in Greenville, SC. He spent 35 years in the aerospace business. Prior to coming to the Upstate of South Carolina, Dan was the Director of Space Shuttle Operations at Kennedy Space Center. He held the CEO Position with Lehman Trikes, USA - responsible for their North American operations until he retired in 2009. Danny left his corporate accounting position at Coca-Cola in late 2004 to help take over the family business. Danny spent 10 years at Coca-Cola and retired from his career as the Senior Accounting Manager/Acting Director of Equipment Service for the State of Florida. D2 POWERSPORTS - GREER

D2 Powersports represents the culmination of a long time dream – to combine the joy, friendship and freedom of motorcycle riding into a successful business venture. The company captures this by using the Indian “Dream Catcher” as part of its logo. D2 Powersports has rapidly become one of the largest franchised motorcycle dealerships in the upstate area. "D1" and "D2" have been responsible for the development of showrooms in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The company's primary trike conversions focus on the Indian brand. Of course, it has the capability to convert any American or metric motorcycle, and provides complete sales, service, parts and accessories for most motorcycles, and trikes. RIDER SAFETY

D2 Powersports encourages safe and enjoyable riding. Here are few tips on rider safety:

Always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Bottles and throttles don't mix !! Study your owner's manual and always inspect your ride before riding
If you're a new or experience rider, keep your skills sharp and take a riding skills course. For the course nearest you call the Motorcycle Safety Foundation at 800-446-9227.
