Tire Rack Street Survival

It’s more than driving – it’s about living! The primary emphasis of Tire Rack Street Survival is a “hands-on” driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seat-belts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seat-belts, too! Join us for Roundel Reunion, November 6–8, for a weekend of BMWs, good food, and catching up with fellow enthusiasts. From Friday dinner and Saturday’s Cars & Kaffee to Sunday’s M3 Anniversary Festival, bring your camera and give yourself time to explore.

You may recognize Jade Huntington’s 2003 BMW M3 from FCP Euro’s DIY YouTube channel. With 224,000 miles and appearances in more than 20 DIY videos, this E46 has helped plenty of owners get to know their own BMWs.

Originally Carbon Black over Cinnamon, it was hand-painted by artist Rae Roberts for Continental Tire’s display at the 2026 Legends of the Autobahn. Look closely at the Eventuri Hybrid CSL intake, too. Rae’s work continues under the hood.

Jade has owned the car since 2020 and made it distinctly her own, with Vorsteiner V-CSL carbon bodywork, EBC six-piston brakes, a Rogue Engineering exhaust, Fifteen52 wheels, and OMT bucket seats. There’s plenty to take in beyond the paint.

Come see it at the BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC, on Sunday, November 8, as we celebrate 40 years of the M3 with member cars, BMW racecars, and afternoon exhibition laps.

Festival admission is $50 and includes barbecue lunch. The exhibition runs from 1–5 PM.

We just drove the new X5 and iX5. While we can't talk about what they're like to drive quite yet, what questions do you want answered about BMW's newest SAV?

BMW just unveiled a 7 Series with M5 power.

The M760 xDrive, the 7's gas-powered M Performance variant, features the 4.4-liter S68 V-8 from the M5 and XM (and the pre-LCI 760i), but this isn't a plug-in hybrid. It makes about 570 horsepower—around 30 more than the old 760i—and should hit 60 in less than 4 seconds. Seen here in a gorgeous dual-finish blue paint with a matte clearcoat on the bottom half and a glossy one up top, it should make for a pretty quick and massive limo, perfect for the chauffeur who wishes he was a race car driver. It joins the i7 and the 740, and will be the top gas-powered model. There will also likely be an M Performance version of the i7 coming, but that is yet to be revealed. What do you think?

A hotel loading lane, a gas station, or a parking lot with a good puddle reflection. With a BMW M8 Competition Coupe looking this good, every stop turns into “hold on, let me get a picture.”

We know we’re not the only ones with a camera roll full of the same BMW from slightly different angles. Where’s your favorite place to photograph yours? Go ahead and share it in the comments!

Rear-wheel drive, a manual gearbox, and plenty of time behind the wheel. BimmerLife is getting acquainted with a 2027 BMW M3 in Desert Sand ahead of Roundel’s celebration of the M3’s 40th anniversary.

The extended drive has already changed a few first impressions, particularly about the manual transmission. From highway miles to back roads, there’s plenty to like and a few things the author would still change.

Read the first impressions and let BimmerLife know what you’d like to learn about the car before the full feature.

The 2027 model year marks the end of the line for the G8X generation M3 and M4. These models have been, without question, the most popular M3 and M4 models ever made, but now they’re leaving to make way for the next generation M3s, one electric and one gas. For our final issue of Roundel this year...

The BMW iX4 is, as expected, very much a coupe version of the iX3; it's built on the same Neue Klasse chassis, uses the same battery pack, and is powered by the same powertrain. Aside from its sportier roofline and reduced practicality, it's basically the same car. Although, it does launch with a range-topping M Performance variant, the iX4 M60, pictured here. However, BMW also announced today that there will also be an iX3 M60, so the similarities persist.

The standard version is the iX4 50 xDrive, which packs a dual-motor powertrain with 463 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque that help it reach 60 mpg in 4.7 seconds. Power comes from the 112.2 kWh battery pack. All of that is exactly the same as the iX3. The only on-paper difference between the two is range. The iX4 is a tiny bit worse, with 428 miles versus 434.

Enthusiasts will be more excited about the iX4 (and iX3) M60. It has the same battery and also uses a dual-motor setup, but it makes 603 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. BMW claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.9 seconds, and a top speed of 149 mph.

If just the M60 packs that much power and performance, what will genuine M cars have? And what does this tell us about the power for the upcoming i3 M60, and the electric M3?

The Stars & Stripes E46 M3 GTR holds a special place in American BMW racing history. This November, you could ride in it with Bill Auberlen at the wheel.

For the 2001 Petit Le Mans finale, BMW Team PTG owner Tom Milner created its patriotic livery as a tribute to those lost on September 11 and a nation in mourning. Auberlen, Boris Said, and Hans Stuck drove it to victory, giving BMW fans a race and a car they would never forget.

On Sunday, November 8, Auberlen returns to the driver’s seat for charity rides at the M3 Anniversary Festival. Come see the Stars & Stripes car up close and experience it on track with one of the drivers who helped make it famous.

Also joining Sunday’s lineup:
🏁 Z4 GTLM: Charity rides with Adam McGregor, Head of BMW Motorsport North America
🏁 E92 M3 GT: Charity rides with Mike Renner
🏁 McLaren F1 GTR: Exhibition laps with Adam McGregor

Join us at the BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC, for the finale of Roundel Reunion, November 6–8. Enjoy barbecue with fellow enthusiasts, explore the cars, and watch them run during the afternoon’s exhibition laps.

Ryan from our Genesee Valley Chapter stopped by BMW CCA HQ this morning to pick up his new 2026 BMW M2 CS! He won the Grand Prize in our 2026 Dream Car Raffle and was on a trip in Utah with a few car friends when he got the news.

His first BMW was a 2017 M3 in Silverstone Metallic, followed by a 2020 X5 with the M Sport Package and, more recently, a 1999 Z3 M Coupe. We’d say the M2 CS is in good company.

It was great meeting you, Ryan. Congratulations, and enjoy the new car!
