REMINDER: We are still collecting warm winter hats for our 2027 Hatsgiving Drive. This year's collection ends on November 13th.

On behalf of Hatsgiving, Main-Care is now accepting donations of new, soft hats (store-bought or handmade) at Main-Care office locations between 9:00am-4:00pm. You may also mail/order online and send hats to 1 Booth Lane, Albany, NY 12205, attn to Marybeth.

In addition to being a collection site for Hatsgiving, Main-Care will also donate $1 to Hatsgiving for every hat received at our locations. Please Like and Share this post so we can help as many children as possible this year.

The first day of Autumn is a good reminder that colder weather is just around the corner. As temperatures drop, a little home-work now can help keep your family comfortable and reduce the chance of unexpected problems when you need your heating system most.

Before temperatures begin to fall:

• Call now to schedule your heating system tune-up
• Inspect air filters and replace as needed or every 30 to 90 days
• Test your thermostat/heating system while temperatures are still temperate
• Check your fuel level and arrange a delivery if needed
• Make sure vents, registers and outdoor equipment are clear
• Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries if needed
