It felt so good to be able to be apart for gumbos after it seemed we’d have to watch it from the sidelines.

Always our favorite race of the year and the one we most wanted to attend!! We got the opportunity to be apart of it thanks to our great friends Carl Kilgore and Cathryn Kilgore Lusk.

We started the weekend with a 11th qualifying effort which missed the top 8 lock in but would put us outside pole for best one where we had nothing for the leader so we started 2nd finished 2nd

Saturday would be a tad bit better after we found a fouled out spark plug. We would roll off 11th and after running all over a fantastic racing surface, we would end up settling for 8th.

I can’t thank my group enough for giving me this opportunity, and it made the excitement for next year just that much more exciting.
