1963 Corvette | Complete Preservation & Protection

This beautiful 1963 Corvette was recently serviced by ProTek Specialty Detailing, receiving a comprehensive detail, paint correction, preservation, and professional ceramic coating package.

Every part of this service was performed by our highly trained detailing technicians with a focus on preserving the vehicle’s original character while enhancing its overall appearance.

INTERIOR DETAILING
The interior was completely detailed using pH-neutral chemicals along with the power of professional steam cleaning. This process provided an impeccable finish without discoloration or chemical residue, leaving the interior with a clean, natural, well-preserved appearance.

ENGINE DETAILING
The upper engine compartment was completely detailed using our large commercial steam cleaning system. Steam allows us to safely and effectively remove years of accumulated dirt and grime while minimizing the need for harsh chemicals.

18-HOUR SIGNATURE PAINT CORRECTION
The entire exterior paint received our signature 18-hour paint correction service. This process was designed to refine the finish, remove and reduce paint defects, and enhance clarity and gloss for a deep, mirror-like appearance.

The original trim, chrome, and stainless-steel components were carefully hand polished to brighten the finish while removing years of oxidation and chemical damage. The goal was not to make the vehicle look artificially restored, but to bring back the natural beauty of the original materials while maintaining its well-preserved character.

The wheels were also meticulously hand polished using the same preservation-focused approach, resulting in a brighter, cleaner, and more refined appearance.

PROFESSIONAL XPEL FUSION PLUS CERAMIC COATING
To complete the service, the entire vehicle was protected with professional-grade 4-year XPEL FUSION PLUS Ceramic Coating.

Every surface received a coating specifically designed for that material:

• Paint
• Glass
• Metal trim
• Wheels

This comprehensive protection package provides long-term protection while making the vehicle easier to maintain and helping preserve the finish for years to come.

🔧 IT’S REPAIR TIME! 🔧

We’ve had the privilege of taking care of this client’s automobiles for her last three vehicles, and she has always done an incredible job maintaining them. But even with the best care, things happen!

This time, her Honda came in for several repairs and protection services:

🚗 Driver’s Door Repair
A grocery cart made contact with the driver’s door, so we touched up the damage, sanded it flat, polished the entire door, and reapplied the ceramic coating.

🪟 Windshield Tint Replacement
While the vehicle was sitting still, her laptop slid across the dash and scratched the XPEL XR Ceramic Tint. We removed the entire windshield film and installed a fresh XPEL XR Black 35% Ceramic Tint.

🛡️ Rear Bumper PPF Replacement
The XPEL Paint Protection Film we previously installed on the rear bumper took a major hit. The film ripped—but it did exactly what it was designed to do: protect the paint! We removed the damaged PPF and replaced it with fresh film.

✨ Complete Refresh
While we had the Honda in the shop, we also performed a yearly decontamination wash and full interior steam cleaning.

When she picks up her Honda, it will be clean, protected, repaired, and looking like new all over again!

Our local law enforcement Tesla Model Y is looking phenomenal after a weathered out vinyl lettering removal, a multi step paint correction to remove the shadowing left from the decals. This service took us 26.5 man hours but it’s now ready for a fresh lettering job and to serve and protect!

Every now and then we get the call that hurts our feelings. The call usually goes like I had my vehicle detailed and I don't think they did the job correctly.
