Amber Sturm Bahr says she agrees with the picture…I don’t blame her as I’ve given plenty of opportunities of spinning out😉😉😉

Weekend recap from Luxy Raceway Spooky Showdown with our Willy's Carb & Dyno Shop, LLC, Halron Lubricants Inc. sport mod.

Friday-
Heat we started 1st and finished 2nd after falling to 3rd early. We were able to pass for 2nd with a couple laps to go. That was enough to transfer us to the qualifying feature where we would start 14th. We slowly made progress forward until 3 to go and I made a detrimental mistake and spun out by myself AGAIN finishing 19th!! I am extremely frustrated with myself continuing to make this mistake this season. Something I will focus on in the offseason to get better at. I took away chances at good finishes this season with those mistakes and that shouldn’t be happening at this point in my career.

Saturday-
We started our LCQ 3rd with the top 4 transferring to the feature event. We rode 2nd for most of the race but a late race caution and a fun race for 2nd we slipped to finish 3rd. That set us up to start in the 19th spot for the feature but unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans. A great effort by the track to try to get the show in it wasn’t meant to be. Fortunately for us when results are put into My Race Pass it’s done alphabetically so it appears as though we won…😂. Obviously with the rain that wasn’t the case.

A HUGE thanks goes out to my team for sticking with me throughout the long season! They choose to spend their hard earned money and time to follow me around racing so I can’t thank them enough!

We are a little late to the party but a HUGE congratulations are in order to Coy Vlies Racing and his entire team on completing something I didn’t think was possible to do from Wisconsin, they won the IMCA Northern Sport Mod National Championship on the last lap of the last night of national points! Racing takes a lot of luck to go your way sometimes but preparation and opportunity need to meet up for someone to take advantage of that luck. Coy and his team have worked extremely hard to go after and accomplish their goals this year and we over here couldn’t be more proud of them. Congratulations on an absolutely amazing season and everything you have accomplished during it! Simply incredible!
