White race was definitely an up and down night. After testing the car twice before the race we felt good about bringing it out… the feel we had testing was not the feel we had Thursday unfortunately. The car was top 6 in speed in practice and qualifying. First time making the dash with the car. Something positive from the night! The rest of the night we struggled with the setup. After qualifying I wanted to free the car up after being tight all day and nothing we did seemed to help. The changes we made for the heat definitely made it free. We would start on the pole and fall to 4th. After that we decided to try to get the car a little better so we started at the back and made a couple changes to see what the car would do by itself. Felt better than the heat race but just didn’t have the speed. Back to the original setup.

Well, Mother Nature has decided to end our weekend of racing. Thursday night got canceled after having lots of rain. Friday we were headed to Norway for the stateline challenge, but that also has been canceled due to the forecast.

Full shop over here, trying to get ahead of the maintenance on the cars before enjoying a weekend off.

We will be back at WIR Thursday for the white race. We will finally have our pro late out. We have been testing the car a couple times trying to figure out some stuff and I think we have got to the point we are ready to bring it out to keep tuning on it.

The 1/4 mile car will be back out in 2 weeks.

We are excited to get back on the 1/2 mile, I have been a little busy with work so we have not been out to race the car yet. I also had the opportunity to help out JVO ( Team45) which has been a huge lead curve for me. We are all learning a lot and having a lot of fun. I look forward to continuing to help them out. With that being said we are planning to only race out pro late 2-3 times on the 1/2 mile.

Norway results

Dash we started 5th finished 5th
Feature we would start 8th and finish 2nd

Very happy with the results from last night, had a good car start to finish. With 2 laps to go we were 4th and would choose the top and squeeze out a p2.

Had a blast racing with TJ, Braison and Tim.

Golden sands speedway rained out tonight… so what do Braison and I do? Head to Norway for round 1 of the fast five. Qualified p2 with a 14.437 after a quick scale late morning after work. We have a small crew today just dad and I, practice and qualifying Braison and I had no crew until after they got done working.
Can’t thank Braison enough and Herbie for the help with setup and the amazing shocks!!

Let’s try this again… last week got rained out along with the Friday before.

Unfortunately we will not be out with the WIR 1/2 mile car for the red race like we planned. We broke a suspension part testing and didn’t have enough time to get the car up to the speed we are hoping for. Back to the shop to fix it and try to bring out a competitive car in a couple weeks!

This Thursday we will be back with the 1/4 mile late Wisconsin International Raceway. The crew really worked hard to get the car back together after 2 weeks ago. Testing went well and we got the car back to the speed we had.

Friday we will be at Golden Sands speedway for another night of Pro Late model racing. It has been awhile since we raced the pro late at the track but after the racing we had opening night we are excited to get back!

Not the night we wanted. We had fast time and a really good handling car. First feature we got to the bottom and was looking to be a good race, unfortunately another car broke and we got collected in it. Car was pretty tore up in the RF. We has some spares so we got to work to get the car back on the track. Worked are way up to 6th before the car going away.

Can’t thank everyone enough for offering parts and help, Brandon and Braison for all the help trying to get the car back out. My crew worked hard and we were able to get back out. For how bad the car is it worked fairly well for half the race until going away.

We will get it fixed back up and look over the damage next week and hope we can have it fixed properly for the next race.

Race 1 for the PLM at Golden Sands Speedway was one of the most fun nights I have had in the car! Qualified P1 over Braison by .001! Random draw for the starting position in the feature and I drew #1 and Braison drew #2!

Heat race we finished 4th
Feature finished p2 after a hard fought battle for 35 laps with Braison. The car was a little tight in the center of the corner making it hard to get a good run off the corner to clear Braison.

Can’t thank Herby and Braison enough for the solid car we had! Looking forward to more races like this!
