What a fun year it has been at Golden Sands Speedway. Can’t thank everyone enough who helps put this car on the track. The car felt great all day showed good speed on old tires and had speed on new ones. Can’t thanks Braison for building a great car and him and his crew for helping me and willing to teach me. Night 1 Braison and I qualified.001 off of each other and would start on the front row for the feature. Last night we took over the points lead after qualifying, after the heat Braison would take it back by 6 points, feature time somehow we would both start on the front row again! I was out a pretty big lead and the caution came out. After the restart we eventually would end up 2nd and Braison 4th. We knew it would be interesting all night, made it a good show! Can’t wait for more years like this.

Summer slam pro late race at Marshfield!

First off can’t thank everyone enough that helped out last night! Braison, Jack, Noah, and dad had the car hooked up.

We had a great car for qualifying and I made a big mistake for the last lap and we hit the racetrack really bad in turn on sending me way up the track, still managed to gather it and qualify p4.

Feature one we would start 5th, was waiting for everyone to settle in for a couple laps and we fell back 2 spots right away then drove up to p3.

Feature 2 we started 6th and drove to p1. We made some changes to the car for the last race and it was everything we needed!

First pro late feature win!

Sorry for the lack of updates!

Last weekend we raced as a super late at Golden sands speedway. We started out pretty good in time on old tires, we eventually put some new tires on and got lost with the setup. The day consisted of a lot of learning. Not the results we wanted but we will learn from our mistakes and do better. Can’t thank the crew and Braison and Chad enough for all the help.

Monday night we went through the 1/4 mile late model and found some chassis failures so we got to work getting everything back to where is should be.

Got some speed back qualifying p2 and finishing p5 and p1 in the two features! Extended our points lead a little bit more.

Tonight we were going to race Braison’s super late at plover but Mother Nature decided otherwise. Super late championship night will be rescheduled.

Saturday we will head to Marshfield for the pro late race they are having. Looking forward to being back at marshfield and building the note book a little more.

We are just about ready for this weekend! We have been getting the car ready for our the biggest race we have scheduled for this year at Golden Sands Speedway. We will be practicing Friday and racing Saturday night!

Thursday we will be back with the 1/4 mile late as well as possibly having our pro late out with a guest driver!

Looking forward to this weekend of racing, keep the cars in one piece and hopefully find some good speed on Friday and Saturday!

Plover recap

Practice we struggled to get speed, we started practice being fairly fast and just got worse. Hot and greasy track.

Qualified p2
Feature 1 started 2nd finished 3rd
Feature 2 started 5th finished 6th

Little shy on stagger in both races which hurt us from continuing to move forward in the races. Brayden did a great job as always on the tires just started the season off on the wrong foot with tires.

Back in the shop get notes and start building a setup for the UARA race in a couple weeks! We have our work cut out for us especially myself hopefully building a setup that will be competitive. See how we stack up against the big guys.

Feature 2- 6th—> 3rd

Winning the Duke of Wir and finally back to having a good finishing night with no major damage to the car. We will keep working on it try to get a little more speed for the race to get through traffic better.

White race was definitely an up and down night. After testing the car twice before the race we felt good about bringing it out… the feel we had testing was not the feel we had Thursday unfortunately. The car was top 6 in speed in practice and qualifying. First time making the dash with the car. Something positive from the night! The rest of the night we struggled with the setup. After qualifying I wanted to free the car up after being tight all day and nothing we did seemed to help. The changes we made for the heat definitely made it free. We would start on the pole and fall to 4th. After that we decided to try to get the car a little better so we started at the back and made a couple changes to see what the car would do by itself. Felt better than the heat race but just didn’t have the speed. Back to the original setup.

Well, Mother Nature has decided to end our weekend of racing. Thursday night got canceled after having lots of rain. Friday we were headed to Norway for the stateline challenge, but that also has been canceled due to the forecast.

Full shop over here, trying to get ahead of the maintenance on the cars before enjoying a weekend off.

We will be back at WIR Thursday for the white race. We will finally have our pro late out. We have been testing the car a couple times trying to figure out some stuff and I think we have got to the point we are ready to bring it out to keep tuning on it.

The 1/4 mile car will be back out in 2 weeks.

We are excited to get back on the 1/2 mile, I have been a little busy with work so we have not been out to race the car yet. I also had the opportunity to help out JVO ( Team45) which has been a huge lead curve for me. We are all learning a lot and having a lot of fun. I look forward to continuing to help them out. With that being said we are planning to only race out pro late 2-3 times on the 1/2 mile.
