Part 4: Prepping the floors for Epoxy.

Now that the painting is finished, the floor prep begins.

We chose epoxy for the flooring to aid in the overall cleanliness and aesthetic of the storage facility.

Pictured is the sanding process and the 1st coat of sealer applied.

The vision is starting to come together and it’s a far stretch from the first video we shared!

Part 3: Exterior & Interior paint!

The exterior of the building getting an aesthetic update as well!

The black and white color pallet both inside and out keeps it classic and timeless.

Part 2: Prep & Paint

In the first video you can start to see some progress! The walls were being prepped for paint and the wall was cut out for the new bay door for easy access to 276.

The second major improvement was painting the ceiling and back wall black.

In preparation for the ceiling and beams being painted, the beams were blown off/dusted and you can see on the floor how much dust accumulated over time 🤮

Dusting the beams was also a big part of the process, as we will be putting in a dust mitigation system to ensure the facility and your vehicles stay dust free while being stored.

Give us a follow, tell a friend & tag along on the journey of creating Greenville’s first Automotive Strange & Social club!

Part 1: How it started

Thank you all for the support and encouragement since the announcement of Private Collection Storage!

We want to show you some behind the scene clips and photos so you can follow along and be a part of the journey with us!

This was day one! The first walk through of the 10,000sqft building and the start of the vision building process.

This property is right off 276 just outside downtown Greenville, in the Cherrydale area. Close enough to downtown, and conveniently on the way out for a drive in the mountains.

It may not look like much, but we immediately saw the potential!

We have already made some MAJOR improvements, which you can find in the following posts.

Support the local Greenville automotive community and give us a follow, tell a friend and come back for updates!
