That aerial shot says it all. A whole American town in 1933, and every eye on that cobblestone street is on the burgundy Hupmobile. 🍷👀

Right there in front of the Hupmobile Service shop, like it owns the block. And honestly? It does.

The Hupmobile Century Six is one of those forgotten gems that deserves a full revival of respect. That deep oxblood paint. Those wide sweeping fenders wrapping around wire-spoke whitewall wheels. That tall vertical chrome grille flanked by twin headlamps standing at attention. This car was built in Detroit when Detroit meant something different entirely.

Hupp Motor Cars competed head-to-head with Chrysler and Buick through the 1920s and 30s, and looking at this Century Six, you understand exactly why they were taken seriously. Every panel flows into the next like the body was carved from a single piece of steel. 🔩

The Depression killed Hupmobile by 1940. But this one survived. And it is STUNNING. 🌆
