As the path of the solar eclipse approaches Pennsylvania on April 8, the sky will slowly darken to varying degrees across the state. Drivers should treat it as if dusk is approaching and, for the safety of others, turn on your headlights. Don't rely of your daytime running lights.

All PennDOT driver license and photo centers will be closed Saturday, November 11, for Veterans Day. All locations will follow their normal hours on November 10 except the Pittsburgh State Office and Harrisburg Riverfront Office Center, which will be closed for the observed holiday.

Online services will still be available at www.dmv.pa.gov.
