Ouch! 💥 That’s not something you see every day.

This 2017 Mini Cooper Countryman came into the shop after a run-in with a tow hitch. The impact went straight through the front end, taking out the intercooler, radiator, and A/C condenser all in one shot. 😬

As you can see from the teardown, it takes a lot of precision and a complete front-end disassembly to get everything back to factory specs. Our team is already hard at work swapping out the damaged parts to get this Mini back on the road before the summer heat really hits us. ☀️🌴

In the shop today: a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD getting some brake attention.

Customer reported a brake squeal, and after inspection we found rust buildup on the rear rotors causing uneven pad contact.
We’re taking care of it with new rear pads and rotors, a full brake system flush, and a tire rotation to keep everything wearing evenly.

A quick note for our customers: modern brake rotors are made from high‑carbon steel, which naturally forms surface rust — especially with short trips, moisture, or road salt. When that rust builds up faster than the pads can clean it off, it can cause noise, vibration, or uneven braking.

Talk about a "Right Place, Right Time" moment! 🔧🚙

This Jeep rolled in today for what should have been a routine wheel alignment. But as soon as we started pulling it onto the rack, it decided to give us a surprise—it started dumping coolant everywhere! 😲💦

It’s a perfect example of why we do what we do. If this had happened five minutes later out on the road, it could have been a much bigger (and more expensive) headache for the owner. Instead, it’s already back in the hands of our team to get it sorted out properly.

Better to find it on our rack than on the side of the highway!

A Costly Lesson from Inside a Subaru Engine 🥊

When our technician opened up this 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, this is what they found.

👉 This is why regular oil changes are not optional.

We're currently replacing both the intake and exhaust cams. This is precision work—you can see the level of teardown involved, down to the timing chains in these photos. While the engine is open, we're also taking the critical step to fully drain and refresh the radiator coolant to ensure the entire system operates flawlessly.

The internal condition of this engine (which you can see in the images) is a textbook example of what happens when oil is not changed regularly. Degraded oil fails to lubricate, allowing friction and sludge to destroy expensive, precision parts like camshafts.

A 30-minute oil service is a massive investment in preventing a complex, multi-day engine repair.
