I’ve posted about Dobermans many times.. If you are looking for a good watch dog, keep in mind I said WATCH DOG, not attack dog, please consider a Doberman.. I would even lean toward a Female.. Athletic, loyal, intelligent.. I know everyone is obsessed with the Malinois & German Shepherd but Dobies can still get it done if you find a good one.,

Rain or no rain, dogs still have to have bathroom breaks.. Some dogs are divas when it rains , some don’t care & rock n roll.

There’s a big difference in owning a Boarding Kennel & Running a Boarding kennel.. There’s nothing wrong with having help, I have help too.. but here, the buck stops with me.. I’m going to take all responsibility & accountability.. It’s me up at 5:30 AM, In the rain, out rotating your dogs, not an assistant.. Nobody will be more involved than me.

Running a kennel is harder than what you think.. There’s way more to it than what you see on social media.. People think it’s a quick buck and anyone can do it.. You will fail thinking that way.. This business runs thru my veins and I Love it!

‼️ We hate having to make this post, but our shelter is over capacity. We are temporarily closed for intake while we work to create space for the animals already in our care.

Please know this isn’t because we don’t want to help. We simply cannot responsibly take in additional animals until space becomes available.

Miss “ Daisy”.. She’s been on the struggle bus.. Most Dog trainers like to portray on social media that every dog they train just comes in & instantly kills it due to the trainers impeccable training skills..Let me be one of the few who are transparent, that’s NOT always the case.

No matter how skilled the dog trainer is, some dogs just struggle to pick up simple concepts.. Patience & extra repetition will usually get you there.

We will see if we can get her in the right direction soon.

Reason # 599 why you should crate train your dogs.. 4th of July.. All mine are snug as a bug inside their crates away from any loud scary noises.. They will snooze until first Rotation at 6:00 AM.
