A teenagers first vehicle is pretty special, especially when it’s a gift. It was a pleasure to get to work on this truck for an old high school friend. Her dad gave this truck to her soon to be 16 year old son.
We started with our normal decontamination wash and clay bar to remove some heavy oxidation.
Next we went with a heavy cut compound to cut through the heavy swirls and scratches, and we followed that up with a fine polish to bring out depth and clarity in the GM black paint.
We then removed the wheels and acid washed them. Then we we started the cutting process using Renegade Products USA to cut through the years of brake dust, followed up with the polish to bring out a nice shine.
Finally we moved to the interior and we done a deep clean of all the carpets, seats, and door panels.
We finished this one off with our ceramic spray on detailer. It will provide 8 months of protection and add even more shine. This is a great alternative if a true ceramic coating is not in your budget.
This is the type of work I truly love to do and I hope this young man appreciates it.

This week we had this Jeep Rubicon in for a full show quality detail. We started with a Decon wash to remove all the contaminants embedded in the clear coat followed by a clay bar.
We then removed the wheels and cleaned all the suspension. We then thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside of the wheels and coated them with SystemX Wheel+.
White paint usually hides a lot of scratches and swirls very well, but now this white paint is flawless and shining better than new after a 2-step paint correction.
After all that hard work we locked in the new shine with our top tier ceramic coating MaxG+ by SystemX.
Finally all the windows were cleaned and coated with SystemX Glass+.
Everything was finished off with our full interior detail including cleaning and conditioning the leather seats.

Just a few things left to wrap up our biggest detail yet! It’s taken several long days and I’ve lost count of how many microfiber towels.

The paint on high end RVs like this are very hard so they withstand the elements, so we had to break out the rotary buffers and wool pads in order to cut and remove the scratches and swirls. We then followed that up polish and foam pads to remove any holograms and bring out the deep shine.

Something of this caliber only deserves the best, so we coated the entire thing in SystemX MaxG+ ceramic coating. All the glass was cleaned and polished and coated with SystemX Glass+.
To finish it off all the wheels were hand polished with Renegade Red and coated to stay shining for years.

Raptors are cool right off the lot, then there’s this one. One of the best looking ones around in our opinion.

We started with our normal decon wash and clay bar to get the shelter green paint ready for polishing. We were able to do a fine polish with finishing pads to remove some very minor swirls and really bring out the metallic in the paint.

As we always stress, preparation is key to ceramic coating and we never skimp on it. Everything was then wiped down with alcohol prep and we applied SystemX Crystal+ to all the paint, trim and lights followed up by Glass+ on all the windows.
We finished it off by ceramic coating both sides of the wheels and full interior detail.

We love custom vehicles and this one is up there with our favorites. AC Sport did an amazing job as usual with all the work on this one.

I’ve said it a thousand times before, but the paint on newer vehicles is extremely thin due to cost cutting by manufacturers. We use a digital gauge to measure the thickness before a polisher ever touches the paint. The mil thickness on most of them is at the absolute minimum to use a heavy compound safely.
That’s why a good professional grade ceramic coating is one of the best things you can have done to add a layer of protection to the already thin fragile clear coat.
This brand new AT4 Yukon was no different. After our normal prep we were able polish the black to perfection before applying SystemX MaxG+ ceramic coating. The added gloss and slickness took the black to a whole other level. We then applied SystemX Glass+ to all windows including the sunroof.
To finish it off we remove the wheels and thoroughly cleaned both sides before ceramic coating them.

Another one done this weekend. We started with our normal decontamination wash and clay bar to get this new Ram ready for a one step polish to perfect the metallic silver paint. After that applied a 5 year ceramic coating by Owners Pride to add protection and extreme gloss.

Next we removed the wheels and thoroughly cleaned both sides and ceramic coated them to help prevent any pitting from brake dust as well as easy maintenance cleaning. While the wheels were off we cleaned the brake calipers and coated them. As always when we remove wheels they are torqued to factory specs.

We also cleaned the plastic fender liners and coated them with our plastic coating. This gives them a clean matte look but also a ceramic barrier to make cleaning easy.

To finish off everything we applied SystemX Glass+ on all the windows did a quick interior detail.

Customer service is #1. We’re not a high volume quick in and out detail shop. We only work on one vehicle at a time and focus on perfection because our customers deserve nothing less.

One thing we do for all of our paint correction and ceramic coating customers is make sure they are aware of proper maintenance. We have created a step by step guide of what to do and what not to do to make sure their coating lasts and performs as it should for years. This also makes sure that they avoid swirls and micro scratches.

We give each customer a folder that has this information printed out and also has warranty information and the receipt along with our business card so they can reach out at any time for questions.

We got the Denali 2500 finished up. If you saw the previous post this is the truck with all the swirl marks. We put in a lot of hours to get it looking good again.

We started with our decon wash and clay bar treatment to get the paint extremely clean before we started a 2 step paint correction to carefully remove the heavy swirls and bring out the deep shine.

Then everything was coated with SystemX Max G+. This is our top ceramic coating that provides the best protection along with unmatched gloss and slickness.
It was finished off with an engine and interior detail.

As detailers we never recommend using a drive through car wash, especially one with brushes. It’s almost like taking sandpaper to your paint. However we do realize sometimes it’s convenient. The truck we’re currently working on has seen its fair share of brushed car washes and look how marred the paint is!
We don’t use glazes or anything to fill all those swirls. We spend hours carefully buffing and polishing them away.
As terrible as the before pictures are it’s coming out really nice. It won’t be perfect but it will be so much better. After we finish the final polish we will apply SystemX Max G+ for even more depth and shine along with a hard layer of protection.
