Check out the before and afters of this Sportster-Bobber build. The customer dropped off this Sportster wanting a one of a kind bobber. The bike was definitely in a flood in KY in the last few years so the water got in everywhere in the bike. It was fun getting it all cleaned up inside and out. Mice also decided to chew up some wires. When the bike was dropped off the customer left everying up to us including the colors and he did not see it until it was finished. He was like a kid at Christmas when we did a surprise reveal for him.

This was a frame off build and there was not one single nut or bolt that was not touched on this bike. The matte black frame and mid section makes for a sleek look and the a pop with gloss accents and the sexy Harley Platinum paint. Obviously we chopped the frame, and fenders along with shaving off some no longer needed brackets.

Back to the Street! This street glide come in form some new and some brake rotors and left with some un-expected motor work.

The customer just bought the bike a short time ago so he did not know a lot about the bike. Once Bill at our shop hopped on the bike and went for a test ride to make sure the suspension rode amazing, he came back smelling oil. That's when he discovered the head gasket was blown.

From the pics you can see where the gasket has been leaking for quite some time. The head bolts needed a breaker bar to get them off which was a bad sign! The head bolts are now swapped out with ARP hardware, complete de-carbon, hone the cylinders, and the lifers are now facing the correct direction. Yep, the lifters were in wrong.

As the customer said, "It rides night and day difference better".

The new Diamond Audio head units will have DSP built in meaning we can tune every channel individually. It also has triggers outputs where we can program it to activate a centerstand, turin on LED lights, raise or lower air-ride.

Another Rocking Road glide out the door. The old rubber button radios take forever to load and connect to bluetooth if you are lucky...

The Soundstream Reserve connects much much faster and brings the bike to modern times with Android Auto and CarPlay and a whole lot of other features.

We got rid of the old boom audio system and installed the full Precision Power system that is loud and clear so both the rider and passenger can hear it.

The look of the new radio and grills make this 2016 bike look like a brand new one.

With amost 50K miles this bike was ready for some new front suspension. We swapped out the guts with some Axeo front suspension.

While it was apart the customer wanted some smooth legs, so we swpped them out with some Hot Legs and some new upper fork covers to clean it up.

She's riding better than ever and looking great!
