New mini rod frame on way to Illinois. It turned into an unexpected last minute new frame for the angry leprechaun of The IRISH Pulling Team after finding issues with old one. We made a quick turn around to make sure we are not the hold up for the mini hitting the track! Finding out about it late Wednesday night to fitting it into the schedule for delivery Sunday afternoon.🏁

The 4th place hook that the engine said it’s sick of getting beat on…. 🤔👎🏻😢🤷🏼 had my spare engine delivered to the track 4.5hrs from home. Replaced it for the following days events and finished 2nd and 4th! Gunna start tear down of this engine tonight. Not how I wanted to start 2026 season out!

We are going to try some indoor pulling this weekend 👍🏻🏁 We are gunna see if we can get mini rods un buried tonight and if they run yet. We plan to load them up and head to this event as an last minute decision… no prep lol they ran and drove when parked them for the off season so let’s see if they can treat us well for 3 classes of pulling each day! This event is free admission for spectators if you would like to attend. Over due for some throttle therapy of Run-er Wide Open! 👍🏻🏁

🏁Tonight Run-er Wide Open Motorsports sold its 40th new never ran mini rod chassis roller or as a do it yourself kit! Never thought it would get that far! Thank you to everyone who spreads the word and the guys who buy! We hope to make things even better and bigger in the future! 🏁
