Serious cooling for a serious engine.
Recently Savannah started running a little warmer than I’d like. The aging radiator had been through two engine R&R’s and had sprung a small leak. The old single 15” fan was struggling in warmer temps. I decided to try out a Mike Montanari shroud for the Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators CHC11, topped with Maradyne High Performance M142 fans. The result? An average 10 degree cooler running temperature in 90+ degree heat, in slow city traffic. Certain running conditions, like through 25mph slow moving traffic, on and off the throttle, observed cooling was better by over 15 degrees. I’d call that a success!
As a bonus, these parts really cleaned up the install too!
