Willard Speedway Statement

Regarding the video/post currently circulating on social media, Willard Speedway would like to address the situation.

The driver involved was disqualified for the remainder of the 2026 season, with participation for the 2027 season still under review.

The video/post includes allegations that the driver was intoxicated. However, no report or complaint regarding those allegations was made to Willard Speedway officials that evening. Additionally, when the driver turned in his transponder at the conclusion of the night, track officials did not observe behavior that indicated he was intoxicated.

Willard Speedway does not condone or tolerate inappropriate or unacceptable behavior at the track. The situation was addressed by track officials that evening, and we will continue to address the matter directly with the driver when we are able to make contact with him.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we work to handle the situation appropriately and based on the information available to us.
