Well… the wife gave me one mission: Secure a campsite near Munising.

Naturally, I interpreted that as, “Take the motorcycle and spend the night in the U.P.” 😎

Huge shoutout to the first-come, first-served Forest Service campgrounds. Bay Furnace Campground came through in the clutch. You may have just saved the weekend… and possibly my marriage.

Now the easy part: ride home in the morning, pack the truck, load the mountain bikes, and drive right back with the wife.

Sometimes the most responsible thing you can do… is take the long way around. 🤘🏍️

Nothing like catching an F-16 bombing run on an afternoon ride. 🇺🇸

One minute you’re out chasing dirt roads, the next you’re watching fighter jets put in work over the Camp Grayling Air-to-Ground Range. That’s about as Michigan as it gets.

Exploring Michigan’s U.P. never gets old. The haze from the Canadian wildfires muted the views and added a smoky backdrop to the ride, but it never took away the adventure. There’s just something about wandering forest roads on two wheels that never gets old—every mile feels like a new discovery.

Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Get out, explore, and make your own adventure.
