MOPAR invited our students down to the NHRA drag races this past weekend. We took 23 students to the racetrack and I believe that a great time was had by all.

They had the opportunity to network with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram dealership personnel and to discuss employment.

We were blessed with a great presentation by Leah Pruett and Matt Hagan in their hospitality tent.

It is quite hard to beat a good day at the racetrack and that was evident by the energy in the vans on the way home and the discussions that took place back in the classroom.

We will have the #16 Kirtland Automotive Technology modified in Kalamazoo for the Hot Shoe 100 race next weekend. It looks like there will about 55 different teams attempting to make the 24 car field. Wish us luck.
