2015 GMC Yukon windshield replacement and recalibration.

We lucked out and managed to recalibrate this one! For those that do not know, 2015-2017 GM and Cadillac SUVs chose Continential cameras for their lane departure warning system. Because they used a highly restrictive factory calibration, the aftermarket cannot recalibrate them. Not to mention these are Gen 1 units, are intollerant to the heat they produce, and just plain old. GM created a TSB (TSB PI1346) to acknowledge this issue. Thankfully, this vehicle did not have this Continential camera and we were able to recalibrate it.

We always check the brand of camera on these vehicles prior to changing the windshield to ensure we can do the job properly, because simply sending you down the road with an uncalibrated adas feature is not what we're about.
