NO, ITS NOT TOO EARLY!

Proper winterization helps prevent freeze damage, corrosion, and costly repairs when your boat sits during the colder months. We see it every spring when the customer who didn't spend the $300-$500 in preventive maintenance hasn't winterized their boats and now they are looking at a $10,000 engine replacement.

Our Winterization includes:
• Engine oil & filter change
• Lower unit gear l**e change & inspection
• Fuel stabilizer treatment
• Drain cooling and water systems
• Marine antifreeze where needed
• Bilge moisture removal
• Basic battery/storage preparation

Mobile shrink wrapping of vessels is an option as well. This includes the durable wrap, tie downs, frame post to support the wrap from water collection.

I'd like to give my customers a bit of my background. I started working in the automotive trade at a shop in Simpsonville SC when I was 15. Worked there all though high school and some in college. I took automotive technology while in high school. I got a scholarship to go to UTI NASCAR tech in Mooresville NC by wining a automotive competition. I went to college for two years learned a deeper understanding of the automotive trade, while there to took some extra electives such as the NASCAR fabrication, suspension, engines, and my favorite fabrication. I took the Ford FACT elective. I graduated and worked at Toyota for several years getting my ASEs and Toyota certified. I left there and went to Ford and got master certified. From there I went into mobile forklift and heavy equipment work getting certified in multiple other brands. Multiple trade schools. I always loved anything to do with boats. Always had boats and worked on them on the side. I decided it was time to start my own business and I picked the marine industry because its challenging and I love learning ever single day. I strive to put forth my best for all my customers. I strive to be honest and fair with everyone I come in contact with. I've been in the marine industry for several years now and look forward to continuing the rest of my life in this industry. Pulled the powerhead to install a new shift rod and lower unit mercury 115. Customer went with a newer 6 tooth dog instead of the 3 tooth dog. I installed new controllers and got the timing , gear selection, and throttle dialed in on this beautiful vintage astro bass boat.

Some of my customers ask me what the best outboard brand is out there. The suzukis are starting to grow on me. Easy to diagnosis when they have issues. Ease of serviceablity.Their diagnostic system haven't changed much. Availability on parts. Ease of service information. Service kits. Pricing and warranty on new outboards. Im starting to like them more and more. My list in order probably goes suzuki, Yamaha, Mercury, then the others.
