This evening at Shemokin…we had to deliver some seriously bad news. Absolutely NOT the fun part of this job.

A customer called about a check engine light that kept coming on in their 40’ motorhome. The concerning part? It just had major engine work done at the beginning of the month.

The code: crankcase pressure—data valid but high.
The rest of the evidence: coolant coming out of the blow-by tube and OBVIOUS coolant on the dipstick. 😬

So off to Freightliner it goes. We hate giving that kind of news, especially after someone just had major repairs done.

Among today’s excitement at Shemokin… a trailer wheel that cut itself into the hub. Somehow, that little miracle kept the whole show together. 😳

We love a good test of our abilities, but y’all need to start checking stuff a little closer. “Still rolling” isn’t a maintenance plan, and it won’t run forever.

On a happier note, Liza and Channce got engaged Saturday! 💍 And today is Chad and Jessica’s 24th anniversary—even if listening to us in the garage, you’d never guess we made it 24 years. 🤣🤣

Today’s tire changes came with a little head-scratching. Whoever paired a bald tire with a newer tire on BOTH sides of the drive axle… we have questions. 🤦‍♀️

And we’re on the edge of fuel filter season, kids. We’ll be stocking Hot Shot’s Secret fuel products to help you get ahead of the cold. Get your s**t together before winter does it for you. 😂

Owner said he just purchased the truck. Note the fresh engine paint. Apparently, attention to detail stopped at the paintbrush.

Do better, people. These trucks are how people make their living. A little care during installation could save someone a whole lot of downtime.

Today at Shemokin… hunting Ford parts had me feeling like I was in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

“Bueller? …Bueller?” 🦗

Had the part numbers. Had excellent people helping me. Just didn’t have any damn parts. 😂🤦‍♀️

We also headed out on a long-distance service call to help a customer. It feels so good to be loved. ❤️
