Yesterday marked 5 years since our beloved Mike passed away.

We wanted to let our Pilchuck Automotive Family and Friends know that Mike (called Paw/Pa by his grandkids) and his wife's legacy has grown since he's passed.

Two of Mike's eldest grandkids got married to add 2 more members to the family a few years back. From those unions have been added 3 beautiful children that have Mike as their great-grandpa (and we know that great grandkid count will grow). Also with a son born to Mike's son Chris, and his wife in 2023, Mike's grandkid count is at 7. Both Mike's son, grandsons, and great grandson have Michael as one of there names in honor of him. We love that our family is growing and with it Mike's legacy.

With some car obsession showing in a grandson and great grandson we may have a auto mechanic in the next generation with them or the great grand daughters. We'll have some of Mike's tools handy for them when they are ready.

We miss Mike everyday, especially his cheeky smile and his laugh, and we know many of you think of him often. We felt a small update was in order for those who had him as a part of their life for so long and felt the absence of him in the community of Granite Falls.

Pilchuck Automotive is hiring for a experienced Automotive repair technician ⬇️

Job description;

We are a family-owned and operated company servicing vehicles since 1992. Our mission is to deliver an unrivaled customer experience.

We are looking to hire an entry level automotive repair technician. Salary DOE.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Be the main point of contact with our customers both in person and on the phone. You will fill out repair orders and order parts once customer approves the work. Diagnostic and troubleshooting of customer vehicles, everything from basic maintenance on vehicles including inspecting, replenishing, draining, and filling fluids and lubricants, to performing vehicle inspections, completing various brake, transmission, engine repairs and everything in between on a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Work is performed indoors in a shop environment, tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force, standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally required.

To our wonderful customers and friends of Pilchuck Automotive, we thank you for your love and support of us over the years. We wanted to inform you that our loving owner Mike Fisher arrived in heaven October 15th. He was a great man who loved Granite Falls and serving it's community.

We will honor Mike's legacy as we continue to serve Granite Falls and customers from all around with the quality care you know us for. Mike's smiling face will still be there in pictures to remember the man we cherish.
