Again, NEW TIRES ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH US!!

Please holler at Eric or myself to get your vehicle in for those tube ups, oil changes and all diagnostic needs! We do charge a diagnostic fee unless you have the work done with us, then we waive that fee!

Hello everyone, I am Eric Works owner & operator of Works auto repair & tire

I have been debating on shutting down the shop. Due to lack of help, being able to get parts and supplies. It has been difficult for me to serve the community efficiently and effectively. For months now I have had to keep the doors closed most days trying to catch up on stagnated work. It has taken a stress overload on myself and my family, not to mention our community. I have finally gotten to where the parking lot is mostly cleared of old work. So out with the old and in with the new, that's what we are striving for.

After the deep thought process and talking to my family about what we are wanting to do from this point forward, we have talked and we have come to a decision. We have decided "AGAINST CLOSING THE DOORS"! We have decided to better serve our community and the surrounding areas. Here's what we have come up with. We're going to reorganize the shop and start over as a "IN & OUT" service shop. We will not take on jobs that will have me tied to one vehicle for multiple days.

Services will include but not be completely limited to.

1. Oil changes "I have placed an order on bulk oil and filters to have in stock to better serve you!"
2. Tire repair
3. New tire sales
4. Tire mounting and balancing
5. Tire rotations
6. Brakes
7. Starters
8. Alternators
9. Water pumps and coolant leaks
10. A/C and Heating
11. Tune ups
12. Wheel bearings "cars, trucks, trailers etc.

Help us wish the Grandfield Bearcats kid pitch team good luck! Tonight they're set to battle it out in the semi finals of league championship tournament in Burkburnett.

These kids had a great season, went 7-1 they finished the regular season #1!! Congratulations Bearcats keep it going!!

Game time 7:00p Burkburnett little league field be there we need help making some noise for these boys!

Hey guys!! This is Alisha!!! Just a little heads up ☺️

I have started my new job working from home, so I will be tied up in training for the first 3 weeks and it’s a group video chat…

With that being said, I may not always know what Eric has going on in the shop and I may not be able to get to him throughout the day. The best way to check on statuses and things about vehicles would be to contact him, or contact me after 4:30. There’s tests involved in my trainings and if I don’t pass, I don’t graduate from training and they will let me go. So just FYI, I’m not intentionally ignoring anyone. Just focusing on my new journey here.

Hey guys!!! Hope you’re having a great Thursday!!

There is nothing more frustrating than dropping your vehicle off for mechanic work and having to wait, I know! I am the most impatient person ever. We get it! We have a couple vehicles in the shop right now, waiting on work to be complete. There are days where we think, “okay, we are getting this job out today and done!”

And then BAM! We open the doors at 8 and someone is outside the doors with 6 IMPLEMENT TIRES. Tires take priority because 8 times out of 10 it’s needed as soon as possible for whatever reason. Tires pull our only mechanic off of jobs he’s working on, tires take time, sometimes LOTS of time if it’s troublesome. Yesterday morning, we had a semi waiting at the doors and those are nowhere near as simple as a passenger car tire.

With this post, I’m hoping to gain some understanding from our customers who have mechanic work here with us. I’m hoping to shine some light on why we thought we might be done this day but it actually ended up being a couple of days later.

On top of the 6 implements this morning, we had an oil change come in.

I took a video of Eric patching one of the tires and this was only 1 patch, the tire actually needed a few. The glue has to set, he has to grind, it’s a process y’all. Sometimes it helps when you get to see what goes on in a morning here at Works Auto.

Not to mention, the delivery of parts has been a crazy mess lately! It’s been almost impossible for us to get things in when they’re promised.
