September 11, 2001.
Nearly 3,000 lives were taken that day—mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, friends, coworkers, first responders, and strangers whose lives would forever become part of our nation’s history.
They woke up that morning expecting an ordinary day. Families said goodbye, never knowing it would be the last time. Phone calls went unanswered. Seats at dinner tables were left empty. Children grew up without parents, parents without children, and families were changed forever.
Today, we remember each life lost, not simply as a number, but as a person who was loved, who mattered, and who is still deeply missed.
We also remember the incredible bravery of the first responders and ordinary people who put the lives of others before their own.
Twenty-five years later, we remember their names, their stories, and the families who continue to carry their memory.
🇺🇸 We will never forget. 9.11.01
